its sad standards have gotten so low that space marine 2 is seen as a good game worse, a good 40k game its as if nobody has ever opened a codex of anything other then space marines or the guard you all disappoint me

Love how you gloss over the fact that - paid dlc is still missing - Content is severely lacking - Post-launch support has been terrible - They literally had to walk back updates and apologize for brain dead decision-making when it comes to game balance - People who purchased physical in some countries have been fucked by saber and still don't have their game - They promote mods for PC steam users, meanwhile console gets nothing - They can't add XYZ cool shit to the game because they have GW's arm up their ass, so they get the modders to do it for them This is literal 343 type behavior 😂

$100+ for... - drip fed cosmetics - drip fed cut content - lackluster post-launch support - updates and hotfixes are far and few in-between Best to catch this on sale after a year or two of updates. By then hopefully it'll have maybe half the content gears 3 had on the 360 😂

I've grown up 40k fan since the 90s. I was extremely nervous about how this game would come out, but this was a love letter to gamers, 40k fans, and honestly male gamers. You ever noticed that Space Marines are ethier talking shit to each other or uplifting each other? That's literally how guys act. I was an infantry soldier in the Army for 8 years, and they accuracy of the dialog was amazing.

The game is an ooga booga pew pew game..Its shalow as a puddle and repetative as the tide...If you have waited your life for a generic game like space Marine 2, youve wasted your like. There is litrerally dozens of games like this in the 7th gen you could have played. All these people jumping on gaming cause it popular know are so fake and only hurt games.

Can't lie, after spending years hoping for a SM2 after loving the first one, I havn't bought it because SM2 just looks like style over substance. If I want gritty, grimdark epic combat, I've got Darktide. Glad 40k non-RTS computer games are finally in a good place, but this ones not for me.

Space Marine 2 is the first game that gave me the same feeling I had playing Dead Space 2 back in the day. Beautiful, Visceral, no bloat, and immersive. Probably my two favorite games.

Like absolutely not, SM2 has basically no replayability, the power scaling makes no sense lore wise, and the gameplay is a downgrade to the perfected 40k slaughter that is darktide, SM2 is a dissapointment, with annoying combos, nonsensical writing, and just plain bad gameplay, it is one of the worst 40k games we have gotten in a while, hell even boltgun is better, SM2 is soulless and boring, one of the first games I removed from my account on steam without a refund just because I was so pissed at this poor excuse of a game, don’t get hyped over it just cuz we got a 40k game for once that looks AAA, it’s disgraceful, and an insult to long time warhammer fans, whoever let em cook, take the fkn kitchen away

I barely knew anything about warhammer 40k til I played space marine 2. Now I'm knee deep into dawn of fire after completing Vaults of Terra, Gathering storm and two Ultramarines omnibuses. These are the fruits of faithful adaptations.

Maybe its said already but if you want to play one small character in a big battle try out "Mount and Blade: Bannerlords 2". You command the army but in a 3rd person view and you can ride around, attack etc

I miss the old Ubisoft, with very high quality games, innovative gamedesign and great storytelling. So sad it's gone the direction it has ....

Best thing is i start the game and can just play not like other games where i must restart everytime the game and the whole mainmenu is made for sell skins. The endless war of the 40k is more peacefull than modern gaming

Opening this video with Republic Commando was not on my bingo card. I've replayed that game 'till DEATH. Simple, clean MP and amazing squad and storyline to engage through. Even had horror elements to it!

I found it interesting you grouped halo infinite with those other titles. I actually really liked that halo campaign, felt like a return to form for me.

This is the result you get when developers passionate about gaming get to make a game they WANT to make, with no bullshit restrictions imposed by a publisher that would lead to compromises in game design.
