I had lost the instruction manual for my Ryobi planer, which is about 15 years old.
I cracked one of the blades last week when planing a wooden floor, and went over a screw head that I didn't see. Luckily the blades are reasonable priced and easy to change 😅

I was wondering how to align the blades. I have a knick in one blade, but not the other. That tells me that one blade is lower than the other. Now I know how to adjust them.
How do i adjust the height alignment? When mine is at zero, the back plate is lower than the forward plate.
What size is your wrench?
Any trouble with the trigger switch?
