Excellent work, sir. You're the only one in the several videos I watched who goes the proper speed. Not too fast to force the tool into the work material. Thank you for demonstrating that. Mine also came with the aluminum guide that attaches to the side for those edge type jobs. Helps much more with less to keep track of while concentrating on the surface cut/planing. I know some people say it's easy to walk and chew gun at the same time...but my work presentation for a client is more important than trying to run a tool with material that belongs to a client. Thanks again, sir.
I've got the corded version and it is indeed an easy and effective planer to use. I mainly use it to smooth out the cheaper structural lumber to use for my carpentry work. The result is very smooth every time.
That is very spooky. I have had a new carpet and need a door planing. In an extraordinary bit of luck you pop up with a video about door planers. Thank you 🙏
Thanks a lot for the review! Am also considering buying that planer, with same goals in mind (heck, I even have almost same workbench 🤣), keep up great job, mate!👍

Nice, thanks for sharing.
I just bought one too..Mainly to eliminate uneven lumber.
Another great Ryobi tool review - clearly showing the features if the tool and how well it works
Thanks 👍

Here to help, really happy with this planer. I used it again at the weekend to trim a few mm of some new fence panels, makes the jobs sooooo easy.

Glad it was helpful!
Great vid! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
and another one for my toolbox... I have a Bosch powered one which is great but cable is always in the way.
I am biased as I am a fan of Ryobi gear, but was really impressed how easy this is to use and get quick results.
Wouldn't it be easier if you attached the guide that came with it?
Possibly, as mentioned this was my first time using an electric plane, but it worked will for my needs.
There usually is a guide in the package. Might be better results using it..
Not sure what guide you are referring to?
