The military and Northerners are the major problem of this nation...their sense of entitlement to power is so annoying. But times they say heals the wounds.
You cannot possibly challenge a serving military in this manner and with such tone and go free. The decision to come back and employ such daring strategy was his undoing.
He was stupid. Democracy was always gonna come , he should have played a long game. He was as corrupt as Abacha and IBB, he financed their coups, partly the reason they never wanted him to win presidency. They knew he was very corrupt to the last. He was a religious bigot as well. Weldone
I would have loved to but a lot of them have been copyrighted.
I was really looking forward to hear him speak intead of that if the narrator. But it's understandable because of copyright. Weldone!👍🏽
Apparently Abacha seized every single material containing that speech and took with him to the grave. Lol
The mad and wicked man Abacha came with nothing and he left with nothing 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
The military and Northerners are the major problem of this nation...their sense of entitlement to power is so annoying.
But times they say heals the wounds.
You cannot possibly challenge a serving military in this manner and with such tone and go free. The decision to come back and employ such daring strategy was his undoing.
Abiola really play a game of death 💀 😂
The past resembles the present, just as water resembles water.
Nothing has changed in Nigeria.
BAT experienced all these but I doing the same now
This was a great speech
Abiola was truly brave and audacious. He fought for a just reason but sadly was murdered in his prime. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
He paid the ultimate price..he us the reason we are in a democracy today..a true hero!
He was stupid. Democracy was always gonna come , he should have played a long game. He was as corrupt as Abacha and IBB, he financed their coups, partly the reason they never wanted him to win presidency. They knew he was very corrupt to the last. He was a religious bigot as well. The annulment and arrests, were just friends dealing with each other.
Abiola is there friend I TT Fela said all.
There's is justice on the day of Judgment.😊
Just speech honestly the reaction of the federal government and the Yoruba Leaders is really bad to mistreat Chief MKO ABIOLA
In politics words should be backed by action. You cannot usurp power with just your mouth without a back up force to enforce your words.
Born in 1982. I have hardly seen anything good in Nigeria as a Nigerian. Only the food is Good. Nigeria Jagaga
See JagaBan behind Abacha & MKO, Emilokan true true but he’s too old and weak for the office. We need a younger more competent President
Thanks for this throwback history video
Thanks 😢
May you're soul rest in peace ❤️ legend hero it is unfortunate for Nigeria atleast we never get it right till this moment
The speech that landed MKO Abiola’s in prison and eventually causes him his life. But it’s quite unfortunate that till this minute we still haven’t gotten right as a NATION
Thank you
The Lord will pass through Nigeria. A
MKO Abiola has done exceptionally well
The Lord is everywhere my brother, He doesn't need to pass through sokoto or Imo. You and I are the problem and God's watching.
For it is said in my own book of guidance that God doesn't change the predicament of a people until they change that within themselves.
May the soul of President. MKO Abiola, rip. Amen.
He who fight and run away lives to fight another day. Freedom of speech is guaranteed but freedom after speech I am not sure
Good advice
I don’t think it was a wrong decision for him to come back to claim what rightfully belongs to him or say anything about the military government… it was just unfortunate that he died and couldn’t get the Presidency.
He was the man of the people.
And he was a Hero.
Wasn’t a coward.
Don’t get it wrong, my fellow Nigerians.
It's so funny abiola financed some coup in Nigeria
Yes you're right but he should have known that power was in the hand of a powerful man who will do anything to keep it. Its sad about his ending thou.
they killed him,cos Abacha die before him
This speech was the most foolish thing he did, while in Nigeria.
He only comes back and wrapped up its self
May help and see Nigeria through
How I wish we human being always have it at the back of our minds that we will all die and go with nothing. Where is abacha today?
exactly
@Global Trends and what's the relationship between Abiola treason and vanity of life?Abiola committed treason against an illegal government of Abacha you must be a joker
@Global Trends Abacha government was an illegal and wicked one, there was nothing like treason in what MKO did. He was robbed after All
@Global Trends Treason against illegitimate government, right?
I don't really know where the idiot is oh
Wow.
This is a great man in Nigeria.
We really missed him.
Thank you. Well put together.
Nice one
I actually like the both men but is just unfortunate because, Sani Abacha tested power and know the sweetness of it and MKO could have know better and just calm down and support to finish his term.
But
Even though I was very small boy but thank God for you to bring this up in the course of work and I believe lesson has been learned from has happened between two of them and I believe it'll not happen again because the look of things, they way things are going presently as we go into 2023 general election for presidential and national Assemblies ones with the situation of Naira redesign to ensure our principal JAGABAN ONE OF AFRICAN couldn't win. I hope and pray 🙏🙏 we should wise 🙏🙏 up to know the right thing for us so that we could face the same problem now and after election.
