Tip for the mre heater bags brother, half way down the bag is second notch to tear the bag top half off. Makes getting the meal pouch out a lot easier.

Great vid again Funky, I found some of the characters walking around the show ground to be very amusing in so many ways. Dare I say some were building up some fat reserves for when the SHTF (only kidding) looking forward to next year's already. Funniest thing I saw was on the way out, did anyone else spot the "no foraging" sign in the woods near the exit ?

that stainless steel filter. they sell inserts for inside bulk water wagon filters. they take the big pieces of grit out of the water stream so that you dont run it thru the pump or spray nozzles.

there are boot and hand warmers that use the same technology as the food warmers. Iron filings exposed to air or water. the more they are exposed to air and moisture the hotter they get. But put inside of a boot or glove they remain at 100 degrees F for about 6 hours.

As for the Space Station food comment Funky, remember this is supposed to be high calorific food and most US soldiers only get one of these a day. So, they are substantive rather than delectable. Many of us Americans, love the approach to Bushcraft and the friendship you all have together. Keep knocking Americans that may stop.

Just thought you should know all American food exp.dates read month day year example 4/6/13 April the 6 2013. The numbers on the American mre your looking at are inventory stock numbers only the large bag it all came in has an exp. date
