You certainly smashed the fire lighting skills tom 🔥🙌 and a gent taking the time out to show bill a few skills 👌 And I actually made it onto one of your video's 🤗 I was talking to @sewbetsie when you were talking to Steve @fieldandsteel & Bram 🐾 enjoyed this tom 🤙👌👍
Absolutely loved that Tom. Need to get me some of that there squirrel oil lol.really educational fun n very funny. That pipe looks amazing by the way.wish I could have been there.but watching this I felt that I was.bravo mate🤘🤘🤘🙏
Watching you towards the end with your pipe makes me think that you are an old romantic, something out of the "Lord Of The Rings" I think that you might like our mountains, where you can go for months without seeing a soul. very few restrictions and a big back yard to play in and needless to say a REAL test of survival bushcraft. Enjoyed the video. ATB from the mountains of NZ 😀😀
No, its not "Get the Shotgun Ma. Its get the "Get the Remmy Ma, we gots us another gator in the pond." Remmy, referring to the Remington model 870 shotgun. I was born in Georgia, so I know things ;)
God damn, we should have found your camp as that breakfast looked banging!!! Was nice to briefly meet you at the show. What was the wood you used for the hand drill? I'm quite competent with the bow drill but I've never tried the hand drill as I thought it was a bit of a lost cause in our environment but you guys certainly proved that wrong. Cheers Ben & Yvette
Hi mate, the breakfast was so good! Liam did a great job on that! The hand drill was elder on willow, I have also used clematis and ivy before. Cheers and nice to meet you at the show. All the best, Tom.
Yo Tom mate just re watching your BCS vids to get me in the mood for next weekend and seen your auenland pipe it is the same as mine!!! they're quality aren't they pal and really good to smoke atb mate...are you going to the BCS this year pal 😀👍 20:16
Where I live we do not have Birch Bark, or Fat wood. I live just east of a spur of the Rocky Mountains. at about 6200 feet above sea level. So a tad different from where you are. I an not a bushcrafter, I am a camper, hiker/back packer, fisherman and former hunter. I've never spent more then 150 dollars for a knife or axe/hatchet/tomahawk. I buy what works, and has gotten good reviews on UA-cam. My favorite small knife is the Mini Hudson Bay knife from Condor tool and knife, and its big brother the full sized Hudson bay knife. For a Hatchet/tomahawk, the Hudson Bay tomahawk from Cold steel. Three very good tools for less then 300 dollars. But hey, each to there own. As for the fire drill, they don't work where I live, cant get the right wood.
