You are correct when you say the guilt is not waterproof. But it doesn't run when water hits it, it spots. But the color will run. So protect your Bibles from the rain when outside.

Beautiful, but it's one of those things I'd maybe try on a really cheaper Bible first. I do have one from a thrift shop, but I need some time, wherewithal, and a little more steady hand, first.

Really nice! Where do you get your makeup sponges? Walmart no longer carries any makeup sponges. I loved the pink ones they carried. No one can tell me why they no longer have them.
