The Brompton dealer in Cologne is so nice! But yes, Europe has the G Line RIGHT NOW (lucky you guys!), but it won't be available in North America until 2025. Pedaal's co-owner was able to get this G Line because he's British and bought one over there. But Pedaal is taking preorders and the G Lines will officially arrive in their store in Toronto in April 2025.
Thanks! We didn't find the G Line faster than our Bromptons, but note that we both have 54t chainrings and 6-speeds on them, so we're used to going faster than standard Brompton bicycles. If you're used to the 50t chainring, or the 44t chainring, you may find the G Line is faster. The G Line's Shimano 8-speed internal hub does shift nice and smooth, though!
If it folds like a Brompton, it's a Brompton! I have a Tern as well, and though it has the same 20" tires as the G Line, the Tern's fold is HUGE and the Tern doesn't even roll while folded. Yes, the G Line folded is bigger than the Brompton C Line folded, but no matter the size, the Brompton folds so much better than a Tern.
Indeed looks like a lot of fun (more toy than business, as you said)
You guys are so cute and so fun! Thanks for the inspiring video!
☺ It was our pleasure!
... what a lovely city!
We agree! Toronto is often underrated despite its beautiful and fun places!
Wow, killer machine. Have to go to Cologne to one of my favourite Brompton dealer to get one 🥰

@@bromptoning I'm not British but was in London on 10-October and brought one back to the USA. Love the bike and thanks for sharing.
@@bluecalvette Congrats on your new G Line! Have fun!
Love your channel! Did you find the G line to be faster through the gear range than your standard Brompton?

G line is not a Brompton. Its only a very expensive Tern

Music and an irritating. Otherwise excellent review.
