  • Hey blade riders, new year, new board to review, to kick off 2024 I'm taking a look at the Meepo Flow cruiser board, I've actually been riding the flow since November and I have to say I was fairly impressed with the performance with a few asterisks, but you'll have to peep the vid for the full deets.

*Haha, happy to provide that "emotional support* 😂🤙🏼

Was hopin to see some London ridin footage. It's such a nice board, I especially love it with 90mm wheels with thinner, cork risers for that lower ridin feelin. So glad they went with Hobbywing ESC. Hella fun to ride.
    The DKwan clip 😂👏🏼👏🏼
You really should post videos more often again dude.
With that 11kg I roll it around behind me by the back truck, holdin the bash guard. Nice review dude 👌🏼👌🏼

Thank you kindly 🤙🔥⚡, yeah all my London footage with AS is vertical unfortunately, that was only mildly planned lol, I can also sorta trundle it from the back but its just slightly to short for me to do it comfortably so I have to hunch a bit.
Eventually I think Ill swap out the 105s with cags and lower risers, really want to do the Omakase deck swap but thats a whole project.

@@DredSk8 I went with Boa's newest V3 90mm, 74a, not as cushy as blue caguamas but I like the extra couple of millimetres of clearance and it's less prone to chunkin than blue cags. Have 2 sets of blue cags, love them, the Boa V3 are different but for me they suit DKP boards better in terms of motor mount clearance.

@@eBoard3R for sure, I'll have to check the boas been awhile since I rocked a set from them, but defo feels like this board just wants to be lower profile than it is factory stock.

Glad to hear, and thanks for the opportunity to review the flow, its a super fun board I have really been enjoying it as my daily driver, few tweaks here and there though could definitely make it sing as a commuter/travel board 🤙

      @meepo...
I think what you're really lacking and your current lineup is something really easy to fix.
I'm looking for the least expensive good quality option to get my daughter started. She's 17 years old and actually 6 ft tall.
Money is a huge issue right now so I've been looking at the V5, v5 mini, and refurbished V4ES.
One of the most important things is going to be ride quality. You're just not going to get that with a hub motor and a teeny little sleeve of rubber. That's why I'm looking at the refurbished V4 ES because it has the squishy donut wheels. We all get anxiety about the quality and durability of hub motors, hub bearings, and hub sleeve tires... We would much rather have gear drive or belt drive obviously.
But if you could do something like the flow with either Galaxy wheels, donut wheels, cloud wheels, cyclone wheels, or even the urban airless AT wheels like the city rider has... Then you'd really be on to something.
I think the wheelbase on the flow would be fantastic for a nice flowy ride. You might want to reshape the back of the deck so it retains the Kick tail and a lot of its style but has enough cut away for larger AT wheels.
If that's too radical then just do the squishy cyclone wheels as a factory option. I'd buy the flow and then also by the cyclone wheels to go on it that's an extra $80 when I feel like a flowy board like this should have super comfortable squishy wheels to begin with. And if you could do the flow with its current range and speed with cyclone wheels and come in at the 499 mark... It would annihilate your competition.

I wish the blasted grip tape was better in someway. I love the clear wood look tho.
    Nice review bud!

Thank you kindly, yeah that bare plank aesthetic is nice, there's been some indication though that they might do a revision with normal grip at some point, Meepos always tweaking and releasing new stuff so would not be surprised. No complaints currently though, it's been holding up well and not shedding at all so far.

Is it me or is dudes speech glitching like "bo-ard", "ro-ad", "one oh fi-ive" and "grip ta-ape" ?? That's driving me insane.
