I got de dd pro and gain on 35/road effects 25 and ff78 at the base... Feel the most differnce when i change ,,INT,, in fana setup dont know if your base got this
After the latest update on console, you no longer need to set wheel angel for each and every car. The game does it automatic, in game. However it is recommended to set your wheel itself at 720 and then let the in game settings do their thing. You can verify by trying different cars, then notice both your real wheel and game wheel are in sync. Cheers!
I've got a DD Pro and if i raise the gain above 20% the wheel starts to shake like crazy. It's fine at 17% but the FFB is very low and I'd like more resistance. And it really doesn't matter where I put damping, same effect. I just updated all firmware yesterday. Any idea how to correct this?
@@loadtoad216did you ever get this fixed I have dd pro and ACC on ps5 and I have gain at 60/70 on the car and ffb on base at 100 I do switch between linear and peak depending on the car
If you fully depress the brake peddle and the in-game reading is less than 100% you can adjust the deadzone to match. It's essentially shorting the travel needed to reach 100% braking
Thank you so much for this video. Just what I was looking for! Gt7 has some problems at the moment to say the least and I don’t have a pc. Bring on ACC
It's not necessary but does change the feel of the car slightly. If you set your wheel base and in game setting to 800, 900, 1080 it will automatically adjust to each cars natural steering lock. For example 480 on the McLaren or 640 on the Audi or 800 on the Porsche. You can hop in any car and the in-game wheel will match your wheel movement
Hey Kireth. I recommend you watch Aris ffb video. He goes into a lot of detail on all the settings and iirc he even uses the same wheel as you guys. Cheers
The gain is drastically different from Console to PC. I had mine turned up to 75 on console and 55 on PC. When I first hopped on PC I almost broke my fingers lmao.
Maybe it would be worth it to make a follow up video about controller settingns? I think a lot more ppl would be willing to try the game and maybe even play it for longer if they just could get to grips with it on a controller since not everyone is willing to spend few hundred euros on a steering wheel for a single game.
@@Kireth Honestly iam not sure (iam ona controller), just thought that it would be a lot easier to make ppl into getting and trying the game that way since its not that expensive, and making it seem just playable on a wheel and wheel only for sure makes a lot of ppl not willing to even give it a try.

It’s a jump from GT7 when you can get on the pace really quick with minor changes.🤣🤣 I would be really interested in any more tips you have on this game!👍
Hey Kireth. Great video again, am waiting for the fanatec ps5 bundle to be available as I'm moving over to the ps5 from xbox. And can't wait to use these settings. In the mean time, will try these with the g920 and see how we get on. Again, thanks for the videos mate. 👍
Kireth, this is a great video as always, thank you so much for it. I have one question that I can't find an answer to. I have Thrustmaster T300 and I play on PS5, I don't have settings on the wheel itself as you have on your Fanatec wheel, you said in the video that you lowered the steering lock to 400 and you're using 400 as well in the settings (varies from one car to another), but what do I do with my T300? Do I HAVE TO connect it to PC and lower the steer lock as well? or is it enough to set it in the game ? Sorry for the long comment, thanks again my friend :))
I don't remember the exact steps (Google knows tho), but you can force/lock the T300 into different rotations on console, I believe you can lock to 270/500/720/900/1080 (may not be correct degrees) you have to do it while it is connected to your ps5/4, also the T300 will not save console settings in its base, only PC settings are saved in base, any settings on PC in Thrustmaster control panel software, will not have any effect when connected to console. So you would have to set the rotation again after turning it off. Just Google how to change T300 rotation on ps4/5, it will be explained better than I can 😂
Very late to the steering wheel party but I've picked up the game and a thrustmaster t300 get for ps5 so what would be the ideal settings for that one in particular
Do I can adjust my wheel setting on the control panel when connected to pc but your saying when I reconnect it to my ps5 those settings don’t apply. So the control panel is just for playing the game on pc and nothing to do with console
Please help with controller settings. I can't afford a wheel or stand so I'm forced to play on controller and struggle what or how to setup these set. Please help.
Having problems with the display going dull or ultra bright when I come out of a practice or hot lap session and go back into it. Have to close game and restart it to sort it out
If polyphony doesn’t fix the mess they created with 1.15 I can’t see coming back. The ff has ruined the game for me. I’ve seen all the fanboys defending though but doesn’t change the fact that it’s weak. They redeemed themselves after the update pushing micro transactions but the last two updates the game went backwards. I guess a couple people spent money on a rig and had no clue what they were doing and got hurt. This is par for the course now though. Ruin the entire system for the majority because a few are clueless.
Hi I have a Thrustmaster T150 that I set to 900 in the wheel settings and in game. You can double check in cockpit view and adjust in game setting, until your wheel and animation are equal,if necessary.Reason I use those settings are they were advised by Kunos developer Aris in one of his streams.Check out his channel Aris Drives for tonnes of tips etc.Hopefully soon they will get the game close to the pc version.
@@Kireth The lock is different for every car. But in general setting both settings to either 900 or 1080 degree transfers your inputs 1:1 to the ingame steering
