Blade Runner- 1950's Super Panavision 70 style Made with #midjourney #elevenlabs, #runwayai and edited in Premiere. Script by Chat GPT. #superpanavision #bladerunner
“I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.”-Roy Batty, Replicant Nexus 6
Amazing that Rutger wrote that (and used it on Scott's go ahead). RIP you brilliant thespian. From Ladyhawke to Batman Begins, you never did a boring role!
Its not. AI isn't intelligent at all its nothing more than a poorman's approximation of your brains associative system, a series of weighted statistical nodes over thousands of layers. And it has to be trained by human input. It has no conceptual understanding at all and no understanding of what its doing. Programmers are still trying to cheat the Turing test, instead of even trying to actually pass it, and worse yet they fail to realize that the turning test is a terrible measure of intelligence to begin with.
"but the lines between human and machine are starting to blur" 0:20 That section, right there, in a movie recap created by Ai just almost shakes the modern soul as we watch it in real time.
It's not just the QI that makes this amazing, but the voice over itself just adds a layer of sophistication that is second to none. Thank you for your tireless work.
I agree. I think it must take some prompt know how and also a creative mind to get these just right. I’ve seen other “Panavision” channels on here but they’re no way near as good as Abandoned Films.
I absolutely agree. This may well be the best piece of work yet. Excellent work. Treats the book and the film with the utmost respect, almost love, and produces something truly beautiful and memorable.
The fantasy & horror shows/movies tap into something more than any other genre for me as these sci-fi trailers are too similar/anachronistic. I know they’re just re-imaginations but what is great about these is the nostalgic factor combined with something completely original!
I love the look of these short Super Panavision 70 clips. They're gorgeous. Some producers and directors need to start thinking about actually making films like this!
I'm can't hide it now. I watch about two minutes of these Abandoned Films trailers every day and every night my dreams are longer, stranger and more detailed. It happens without fail. Don't know why, don't really want to know why. And because this happens...I'm going to keep watching them. Thanks guys! Liked, already subbed, will recommend until my dreams take me away permanently.
Dang that request was fulfilled quickly, somebody just asked for Blade Runner this week. These look great, kudos! These vids made me realize Hollywood's days are numbered.
This is so beautiful, and so right, it actually moved me to tears. The real world version of the movie has been a big favourite of mine since I first watched it, at the cinema, the whole audience reduced to awe-struck silence, until the end, when we applauded. This trailer for a non existent version, has that same awesome feel to it. Thank you. 👌👌👌
Oh, yes, indeed. In 1982, it didn't look, sound, or feel, like anything else. Unless you had watched a lot of Film Noir classics, eg. 'Double Indemnity'; 'The Big Combo' 'Out Of The Past'; 'Detour'; 'Kiss Me Deadly' - those wonderful old flicks - the world of 'Blade Runner' would be completely alien to one. As it was with the audience I saw it with. An old fashioned futuristic movie, with a stunningly retro soundtrack. 42 years ago, cinema audiences were different. They knew how to watch a movie, and best of all - no cell phones then. I have only been to one other movie where there was applause at the end, and that was a showing of 'Nosferatu' (Eine Symphonie Des Grauens), accompanied by a pianist in my local arthouse cinema. That was astonishing.
That was pretty cool. The first time I'd seen Blade Runner, I was a teenager of 15. Always thought it was like a detective in 40's film but set in the future 😊. Well done
Stunning! These AI actors seem to have more conviction than real life fleshies, not to mention they're very easy on the eyes. The world needs a full length version of this
By 2030, it will be possible to generate an entire movie, complete with dialogue and music - any script, any actors, any genre and any directorial style. A whole new era of experimental cinema is just around the corner.
Unironically this would have actually fit amazingly with 1950's America given the second red scare was at its height and the idea of "you don't know who to trust" permeated American culture
0:45 “What does it mean to be human in a world where machines can dream?”
That is a good line!
Especially in a video literally dreamed by a machine.
'Blade Runner' was already based on a sci-fi novel called: 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?'.
very good line and written by ai. are we all ai? 🤣
Perfectly captures the essence of the book and the film.
Do Androids Dream of Biological People Dreaming of Electric Sheep Dreaming of Android People?
Blade Runner, as a tech noir, is an obvious choice for this. Well done!
Isn't tech noir basically cyberpunk?
Also Tech Noir is the name of the nightclub the titular Terminator shoots up in the first Terminator movie.
Now I want a 5th Element 😂

Possibly the best scene and dialog in cinematic history.
@@TheDeadbone1961I agree. Well said.
Beautiful words
What is Tannhauser gate?
The best 50's trailer among others. The quality, narration, bgm, 50's mood everything is good.
Out of all of the channels who dabble with Panavision videos, this voice over you use is the best by far!
0:37 that flying car is gorgeous !
I like 0:55 too
Designed By Howard Stark, Tony Stark’s Dad you also saw his prototype Captain America The First Avenger
Indeed...it caught my eye too.
Who would have played Deckard in a 1950s version of Blade Runner? Now we know....
James Dean!
He was too young.
How about Anthony Perkins?
Kirk Douglas, Charlton Heston or Henry Fonda.
@@Marounek1 oh hey these are really good, very good choices here
and the lady at 1:02 looks like Amelie (she's gorgeous, btw)
Charlton Heston, he was at his peak and the right age.
"The lines between human and machine are starting to blur"
Never in a million years would I have thought it would be a reality in my lifetime!
It isnt
Its not. AI isn't intelligent at all its nothing more than a poorman's approximation of your brains associative system, a series of weighted statistical nodes over thousands of layers. If your lifetime is a million years, a lot of things can happen.
Idk. People are pretty Stupid. Doesn't take much to imitate them. Parrots do it!
These videos are really impressive man. Keep up the good work.
The Zora and Pris cameos were a really nice touch.
My favorite movie of all time.
I'd actually approved of a remake of Blade Runner like this. Well done. I love it.
He always uses the lead in of "In a world where....... insert whatever".
That's a classic trailer opening line.
A nod to Don LaFontaine.
"but the lines between human and machine are starting to blur" 0:20 That section, right there, in a movie recap created by Ai just almost shakes the modern soul as we watch it in real time.
I watch one of these every time I tune into UA-cam. Brilliant work!
“Tune in?
@@gasjet2000 You do know that TV used to come to us by radio waves? Especially in the Golden Era being depicted here in these videos. Tune in...
@benitosalazar3749 Same I've found my new obsession
Just subtle and brilliant. Nothing else can and will come close.🥰💚🌱
Even more fantastic when set in a futuristic 1950's! I'm really enjoying these.
As opposed to the distant future of 1982...
Or 2019.
😄

I can't get enough of these videos. Bravo! Maybe also try Batman?
The 1950's style Spinner looks amazing.
This is the best Blade Runner one so far. I would love to watch this as a film.
Gorgeous, and about as meta as anything can be by being literally the dream of a machine
Fantastic there's a lot work in these mini films
i guess its no work there because AI does everything ;D

This channel has the best ones. Love the work you're doing here.
50s style women are so hot .
Present time women are much hotter, some of them even have beards and d/cks!
You don't really like the style of today's women, whose orientation is hard to discern?

This voice is so calming and chiling😂
This is one of my favourite movies and this trailer is fantastic. I can imagine watching this movie.
Awesome! Thank You
Been waiting for this one!
you NEED to do fifth element that would be epic
Beautiful! Absolutely loving the retro-futuristic machines in all of your trailers!
Your work just keeps getting better.

Well done Curtis and company!
Fantastic

Abandoned, do a STARSHIP TROOPERS trailer. You need to get that before the copycats think of it. Would be so cool.
Absolutely incredible

retro car with door as a wings and controls as a motorcycle is pure ginious actually
Beautiful.
Excellent. Thank you for doing this one.
Truly beautifully done. The cars/spinners are impressive. Look like a mash between a 50s Cadillac and a Peugeot or maybe even a Lancia.
WOW!!
👍 as always.

An adaptation of one of the greatest sci-fi movies about A.I. created 42 years later by A.I. 🤯🙌🏻
