Congrats on the new arrival, by far the most important thing going on for you. We were at Estes in April this year (2023) there was open water, but it was cold and windy so didn't fish... I can't believer those dudes came in front of you, so rude.
Hey, when your slayin em like that, you're gonna naturally attract the dingus's trying to capitalize on that spot, lol! You're calmer than me- one time bank fishing at Stagecoach and slayin em, had 2 boats pull up into casting distance of me and just start fishing. I started casting my heavy weight towards their boats and eventually hit one, ha! They got the idea and left.
Can you keep fish from Lake Estes? I am visiting colorado for first time in a week and I am definitely going fishing because i have never caught a trout before!
Hey, good fishin! Wholeheartedly LOVE that Estes Park area! Used to go up around there regularly from 2015-2020 for fishin', horseback ridin, hiking and so many other fun activities. From one 'fightin fisherman' to another, wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
@@adventureswithjohn1749 ps, check out Fishing 24 Seven channel. He hits them local reservoirs with a tenacity, and hauls in some nice ones! You gotta try that slinky weight he uses, available at Eagle Claw (and elsewhere, but it is there) if you go there off of I-70. I still like my 3-way rig, tho 🎣
No that's a standard fishing area out there on that sand bar. Your casting into shallow water there. Just because you can cast out that far doesn't mean its your spot.
You don’t walk out in front of someone while they’re fishing 😂 that’s just an unspoken rule of fishing. Thanks for showing everyone you’re one of those asshole fishermen just like them! 🤡

Thank you I appreciate it. It happens every once in a while. You would think they would respect fellow fisherman that were at that spot before them.

I know I hate it 😂 especially when they get caught on your line MULTIPLE times. it was still a blast!
In the process of moving there as we speak. I've never lived in an area with trout before, so this will be new for me.
You picked an awesome place to move! Trout fishing can get addicting so be careful!
Damn first trout was a fatttyyyyy that lake looks dope
Yeah it’s hella nice out there. But there were so many people there
