This was one of the best videos I've seen on this particular install. Outstanding! Just installed these Cali Raised 2nd Gen's today on my 2021 SR5 Trail Edition 4x4. Maybe it's just me, but it still seems that someone who is enterprising enough could still find a way to get to the cats, especially the one on the passenger side. It didn't appear that it would be as easy to get to on the driver's side. But yes I do realize that nothing is foolproof, and all we are doing really is preventing the potential theft for someone in a hurry to cut 'em off quickly and be gone. This will probably deter 95% of these folks. I had to wait about a month, month and a half to get mine in after I ordered them due to lead time and demand, but I'm glad I have them on the truck now! It's just a shame that we have to go to such extremes these days to protect our stuff. Such is the world we currently live in. Once again, GREAT VIDEO! Thanks!

Best install video I've seen. Thank you for taking the time to put this out. I just received mine yesterday (5/23) for my 23 TRD Off-Road 4WD. Any issues with rattling? Biggest concern before install.

Hey! No rattling but I did notice the truck doesn't drive as smooth, like it did off the lot. Very minimal vibration but nothing too annoying. I rechecked the torque specs online and everything was in spec. At the end of the day it's worth the protection against theft. One last thing, I'd only use one "security" bolt, the security bolts are weak and can strip. Cheers. @@Tacomadude76

Did you have to remove the skid plate? Looks like you might have a TRD Pro Aluminum skid there?

Didn't have to remove the TRD skid plate. These won't interfere with it at all.

Now the thieves know the tools needed, a torx 40 and 14mm. Too many vid on these shields. Still worth buying these shields? Me no!
