Another great video! If you have time, could you make a video on using verse for asymmetrical teams, team selection and spawning? I know it seems rudimentary, but the verse syntax is killing me. Making failable expressions with arrays is so confusing to me.

Could you make a video about checking if a score is met to a condition so therefore the player's mechanics will be changed? Example (player) has met a score of 5000, therefor their movement speed will be changed to be faster

I did as you teach in the video and everything works. But I have a pre lobby and when I change class to respawn/teleport in game area I only get the loadout in the first round. I really wanted to save the voting choice for all the rounds until the game was over. I need help, anyone here???

I am working on a map and i need a custom npc that chances the player and has the freddy model with his animations and everything. If you do a tutorial on it thank you very much! Could you make a tutorial for a 4 way voting system that is connected to 4 item granters
I mention this because I can connect the item granters to my map mechanics as a gamemode selection screen
This way I can directly link the granters to class selectors and alter the mechanics via event binding
I will attempt to replicate it by binding the system in the video if possible

There is. You just need to add more devices and add them to the code. So an item granter, switch, and player counter for each additional loadout.

Yo what if i'm have 3 or more loadouts ? When it comes to the part if (WeaponCounter1.GetCount() > WeaponCounter2.GetCount()): etccc how can i make it so if weaponcounter 1 is bigger than 2 and than 3 and etc.... give loadout1 ?

YOU CAN MAKE A UEFN RANKED VIDEO
Probably not that particular one because it's a core system I developed for our popular map. But if I were you i would use ChatGPT and say "design me a simple rank and xp system for a game, and write the code for it in C#" Then convert that to Verse
I did all of it but im doing with three item granters and i added like i extra things over all of urs and i just have 1 red tick which isnt letting me do the device to put in map idk if you can help me its a small fix

There’s NO freaking way someone could learn this crap with no experience. Looks so confusing to me and I know a bit of JavaScript
Verse isn't even similar to javascript, if you wanna learn the verse syntax look at some Python code, and use UEFN documentation to learn about all things uefn related
Yeah it can be tough
I legitimately learned uefn/verse from Mark's and others tutorials, the docs, and discord groups from never having coded or opened a game dev platform.
It's not impossible, it just takes diligence, dedication and good resources.
I won't tell you its easy, but it is possible.

I'm not sure that's relevant unless you already learned another language. Code for a beginner is always unreadable, the syntax is the only syntax I knew so I learned to read it this way. For me I have to try really hard to read C++ and python and those seem backwards to me, even though they're regular syntax for everyone else.

After entering the code like you and going back to the uefn screen, there is no propierties under the game manager tab, only the "visible in Game, and enmeabled at game start"
