    HOMEMADE PLUM JAM
    Ingredients
    700+ grams fresh Kashmiri plums (Normal plum)
    1 cup sugar (180 gm)
    1/2-inch cinnamon stick
    1/4 tsp cream of tartar ( or citric acid)
    Method
    1. Take fresh plum and roughly chop fresh plums and set them aside.
    2. Now take a non-stick deep pan or any vessel and add the chopped plums to it add sugar. turn on the flam and put the pan on medium flame, stir it and dissolved the sugar then add a cinnamon stick for a good aroma, Cook, for 7-8 mins and till pulpy, stirring occasionally.
    Take the pan off the heat and allow it to cool to room temperature. sieve the jam to make it jam smooth.
    3. Add 1/4 tsp cream tartar and mix them very well (1/4 tsp citric acid instead of cream of tartar).
    3. Transfer the prepared jam into an air-tight jar.
    4. Store it for 90 days (Keeps in the fridge).
