I absolutely loved my 6. Great looking, great to drive and great economy/performance mix from the old 2.2d 175 engine. I really hope we get the new RWD 6cyl replacement they’re developing on the new version of the Skyactiv platform.
I ran a 6 Estate for 5 years and about 80k miles - was very good, did some big trips in comfort. On "having to cope with cloth seats" - I am so over leather! Hot in the summer and cold in the winter (until the seat warmers kick in!), I much prefer a quality cloth these days.
1. All mazda sounds sweet, almost like a lower revving rotary 2. 2021 Mazda6 still looks beautiful despite being a facelift model 3. Gorgeous n sexy polymetal grey 4. Get well soon Rebecca, seems like you are having a flu
Earlier this year, 2023, I traded my 2020 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab SV 4x4 w/ Rough Country lift and oversized mud terrain tires. Truck are fun, Ive had many, but I get older I realize I dont really need a truck. I dont haul gravel or furniture, I dont have a towable boat anymore, and Im tired of climbing in and out several times a day. I traded it for a 2021 Mazda6 Signature. OMG. This is much nicer than any Mazda has a right to be. I know the truck and the Mazda are in opposite classes. The truck was no slouch, but the Mazda is MUCH more premium feeling to drive and the interior design and materials are world class.
Electric = limited range, very expensive Hybrid = half a ton of batteries, poor consumption, very expensive There's nothing wrong with fossil fuel cars!
Pardon mon français, but bollox to funky SUVs, big monolithic screens and ambient lighting. This is a great car, get one and enjoy the last decade of ICE powered cars.
Love mazdas, in particular the mazda 6, but unfortunately until they go back to the more practical hatchback version I'll have to pass, which is a shame as it still looks lovely, looka like a Bentley inside with that colour on the seats, and from the 3 mazda 6s owned, I guess drives awesome as well. Hope the sport still comes with bose sound system as that was awesome.
A very nice car. Why buy a so called (unreliable) luxury German brand. A lot of people are very shallow and think that if a car is branded Mercedes/BMW/Audi kid themselves that they have made it in life and have purchased the pinnacle of luxury cars. They are wrong. The thinking man would look further afield and maybe buy one of these.
To be honest most of the toys mentioned I already own in my Fiesta Active X so why spend money on a bigger car that comes from overseas and is not a great improvement on previous models? Nice jumpsuit Rebecca !!
Electric/hybrid aren't important really, 2030 mazda will have to have one or other then, so buyers can get one then, but for now let's enjoy cars for what they are, a to b, fun to drive etc...., and in the case of the 6 not a bad looking motor either.
nice review, but great looking wardrobe...in the states, the Sonata is less expensive, longer warranty, better mpg, matching turbo power. nobody here buys dirty diesels....
never buy a mazda let alone the 6 Worst car i ever bought ... didn't even last 60,000 miles Before I had to replace the motor all out of pocket.. Stick with Toyota
Every brand has lemons, especially when the car first comes out without any "real world' testing, and everybody goes to buy it because they must have something new and shiny. Looks like you were the test subject/Guinea Pig weeding out all the faults in order for people like me to buy one 8 years later. LOL. Nevertheless, you will find that Toyota and Mazda are now working together in joint ventures, so expect to find Toyota parts in Mazda's and Mazda parts in Toyotas. Brand snobbery is something of the past for the savvy consumers.
Amazing car. Simple and honest. No stupid touch screens and useless gadgets, fake exhaust tips.
One of the few new cars I'd buy just good looking straightforward well executed engineering.
One of the best looking saloons on the market would buy one over an suv anyday.

For me, its appealing because its not a hybrid, also being non turbo ( less to go wrong).
Lovely looking car with a great interior. Pity we don't get the 2.5 turbo, 250 bhp, version that America gets.
Rebecca and Mazda - the perfect combination. Great video.
Yep, she´s hot as that car...what a combo :)

I have the estate version Mazda 6 Kuro edition and I absolutely love, spacious, good looking and a great drive, what more do you want?
Great review as usual 👍
Long live the Mazda 6, I just hope I can get my third in a row next year!

The diesel was indeed good, barring the regen aspect. Dilution of engine oil with diesel fuel was a bad idea.
This is awesome !! When is the next car review where Rebecca reviews comes out ?
Electric = limited range, very expensive
Hybrid = half a ton of batteries, poor consumption, very expensive

Bought a used 2018 model this year. Its first class.
With 2.0 or 2.5 engine?

The rear end always looked nice and tidy compared to others
And that of the Mazda to be fair!
This car is amazing!

It's a shame that you can't get the top spec with the kudo design
I often thought about buying the top spec tourer version, but who wants nappa leather in baby poo brown.
Mazda 6 Kuro in Europe and Canada.
Mazda 6 Carbon Edition in the US.
Mazda 6 GT SP in Australia.
Did I miss any country/region?
Great looking still. It’s best part ten years old tho? Sky activ tech mind
Unfortunately being discontinued in the US, I believe.
Rebecca Jackson makes the best car review videos 👌👏❤️
This car is similar to CX5 with auto gearbox in Singapore.
Love my 2.2 D Mazda 6 Touring. And literally every person that gets in it comments on how nice it is and, annoying, seems suprized its a mazda
Plugin Hybrid diesel, as Mercedes still does, would be, the best way to go.... at least for the consumer
Great car but what were mazda thinking when they got rid of the diesel, that was probably the best selling
Germans have you covered
Do mazda still do CD players as standard?
No, Mazda hasn't installed CD players in years. Does any car on the market still do?
My 2019 Mazda 6 has a CD player as standard. Never gets used though
@@vinnyanthony23 I just have a thing about having a car with a CD player, don't like having just the radio or plugging my phone in.

Coz you are driving a freaking Fiesta lol
Nice video 👍
Thanks for the visit
Nice car......not an Austin Allegro of course. 😁
The name of that trim package makes sense since Kuro is Japanese for "black".
Refreshing to see a non turbo SUV
I don't need an suv. Don't even like the looks. Mazda 6 FTW!!!!!!

Diesel is just as dirty as petrol nowadays, these aren’t the polluting TDI of old
Sonata? Lol, this a is a Mazda, Japanese reliability, well put together, great dynamics, no cheap plastic... Who cares about warranty
Nice car, but id rather have the Jaguar.
I lost interest when I heard there’s no more Diesel engine on offer…

Lovely car Voguish presenter
Gosh. Make a new 6. For the love of cars hurry up and do it. Also the old technology in the car makes this DOA.
2.2l diesel v unreliable. Most dealers won't take them as tradeins at all.
One of the last proper cars basically
Great review. Nice car. Beautiful woman

Mine is running fine at 96,000 miles. Our sample size is now 2. Still not enough to draw a conclusion.
