the bar is gorgeous??? i didn’t even know there is a bar in this kit!! tbh at first i did not like the kit i didn’t like the idea of adding MORE party stuff into the game but after seeing the items, i kinda like it now….
The Ballons look horrible, but the Bar, the Record-Player and the Background for Simstagram are decent and especially the background is something you can use for different purposes, like backsplash in Kitchens, featurewalls in Bathrooms and the invisible dancefloor is something they should have added when Get together came out.
This is definitely a fun kit, perfect for making a community lot dedicated to birthday parties!! The balloons and fog machine are definitely my favorite.
That table is base game but with wooden legs instead of metal. I’m being serious. The cloth draped on top is the exact same shape but with different swatches. It’s also weird how blocky all of the objects are. The balloons are shaped weirdly and don’t look good at all. I know they can’t be completely round since that would lag the game, but there’s no need for them to be THAT wonky. The wall decorations aren’t made for all wall heights either, meaning that they look really awkward on taller wall heights and if you stack them they look even worse with how they clip. Overall, this kit isn’t that good in terms of quality. The low textures, repeat furniture, flat signs, and balloon shape are not worth $5. Let alone $10 where I live. If I could say anything good about it, the only things I like are the simple, normal-looking bar, the invisible dance floor, and the turntable. That is not enough for me to get it. Save your five/ten bucks for something actually worth it.
Ehhh... guess this gonna be the first build buy kit I don't buy. Not only are the objects way too niche (to the point where it would only be a temporary decoration and not a permanent one in a room / building), but they also look very janky. The only items I would probably use are the record player thing and the ceiling lights. Maybe some things in my cyberpunk builds, maybe the backsplash in the kitchen, but don't feel like I really want any of them.

I do really like the look of this kit however, it annoys me you cant use the cake stand with candles etc!!
everything just looks octagonal. The balloons, the cups, plates etc. it's just weird.
