When I was about 10 years old my parents purchased the Tyco 9.6V Turbo Bandit for me for Christmas. I broke a shock tower on the front suspension a few days after having it. I was super bummed out as well. My father did a similar repair with a two part epoxy and that repair held up for years. I was so overjoyed that he was able to fix it. I even remember him saying he added a little bit extra on the outside for support. Good fathers are both a blessing and timeless. Man how 30 years has flown by I can still remember that like it was yesterday.

Matt, get hobby grade cars so you can buy replacement parts, and if you go with something like the Traxxas cars, most of them can be ran on a 50% training mode so kids can get used to them. That's what I have been doing with my 8 y/o, and got him a little 1/24 crawler also as that really helps teach control.

Traditional jbweld with submerged paperclips is what I'd use to fix that plastic suspension. Jbweld both between the parts and externally with a flexible reinforcement like ziptie or paperclip is usually by far the strongest route and it bonds perfectly so long as you rough up the plastics and ziptie a bit.

I moved into a 4 year old house in 1989 and the first year, rye sprouted in my backyard. I never planted it and it’s adjacent to the native vegetation that has still never been cleared, so I assume that the original owner seeded the area. I never mow it and it dies back in our hot summers but 33 years later it is still coming back every winter. While it is annual, it will reseed itself.

For anybody who wanted to improve and develop this property, there's HUGE potential to apply permaculture techniques to boost year-round grass production and tree growth with eventual minimal to no imput for maximum output. Well placed swales and berms on contour after careful observations about water flow across the property would make a world of difference, especially if livestock farming was the end goal.
Whoever owned the property before Matt and Mere really grazed the hell out of it. Must have liked spending a small fortune on fertilisers and seeing their topsoil wash off into the river during heavy rain.

Different seeds are usually included so when one the fast growing seeds sprout, provide cover to the others creating a protective canopy until the spread.

I don’t know how much luck you had gluing the RC truck, and I’m not sure how well it would work in your particular instance, but Surehold makes a super glue for plastics that kinda “bites” into plastic sorta like pvc glue does. It is called “Plastic Surgery Gel”. I’ve had pretty good luck with it in the past.

On the Rc truck that plastic binder won’t hold for long. You’re best bet is to go to a local hobby shop and usually they can get you the single part or the parts kit for cheaper. I fly rc planes and race rc trucks. Just speaking from experience.

The best place to run them is in a sand pit or an open field around your house anywhere there is curbs or trees you just going to smash into them, even a grown up playing with these things ends up hitting something so you need open space less chance of breaking them but if you flip them a lot depending on the types of rims you have the rims can break as well from rolling and bouncing and flopping when you lose control
