The mother of Bishop H. Jenkins Bell…Adjutant to the Grand Board and nephew to Bishop J. O. Patterson, Sr. What a gospel preaching, singing, praying and leading family…
What a blessing to hear this hymn! I first heard the song by the Queen of Country, Ms. Patsy Cline and later by the one and only Sister Jessie May Renfro Sapp both of which can be seen via UA-cam. Thank you for your post!
I always loved to hear Mother Bell’s voice!!!

@TheFirecogicuk Mother Bell is Bishop JO Sr.'s Niece her mother was JO Sr's sister.
NO THIS WAS BISHOP PATTERSON'S SISTER... BE BLESSED! ELDER JKR
All other sources said that she was the 1st cousin of Bishop J.O. Patterson, Jr. Wouldn't that make her the niece of Bishop JO Patterson, Sr.?
JO Patterson was GE Patterson uncle not his brother...
Was she Venessa Bell Armstrongs mother?
