HW has a new favorite amp! If you follow the channel you know HW is a huge AC30 fan and even after profiling some of the most iconic amps in the world...he still plays a profiles of a Vox AC30 for Sunday morning sets more than any other amp profiles but.... the 66 AC50 is about to change that! The AC50 combines all the chime and growl of a mid 60's AC30 but with it's scaled up 50 watt EL34 driven power section it offers a stronger fuller bottom end. IT'S LIKE AN AC30 AND A PLEXI HAD A BABY!

I was once a Tweed Princeton and Tele guy. Today I’m playing a Gretsch Duo Jet and usually Marshall. Vibes on the Kemper. In a couple years? Who knows.

Well said dude! I used to LOVE my old orange combo, then I was super into the 70 Bandmaster Reverb TFL, I had a Hayseed 30 for a few years then a 90's AC and a Suhr Bella. Obviously the Kemper has been life changing too! Let's see what the future holds!

After playing these for the last day or so i have to say they really are amazing. I especially love them with my 335. The combination of chime and mid/low end girth is almost perfect and I can't wait to play live with my band as I think they will cut through in a mix very nicely. Well done on all the variations you've included as usual! Thank you!!!

I’ve been looking at that, but I bought a Marshall origin 50 with my petals. It sounds phenomenal but I have a super beetle.

Hmmm I noticed these have been popping up out of nowhere from content creators UA-cam. I’ll have to grab one soon before the prices sky rocket just like the Gibson Les Paul KM did when Robert Baker got one.

I love this pack. I’m stuck on the X B3 profile. That one is just my favorite. It has all of the Vox chime that I love, but it has the Marshall tight low end. One thing I noticed is that on the M25’s, there’s no J3 profile. There’s J3+ and J3M, but no regular M25 J3. I guess you just missed putting that profile in the pack?

I have a mkii. Nice amp I just need a better speaker cabinet. I have a 1-18” Foundation cabinet, it’s original to the amp. Still it sucks. The amp is Spectacular though.

Hey, HW, do you know how sonically different your 66 AC50 and a more modern AC50 CP2 would be from one another?

I’m a helix user, but I want this tone and I’m wondering if I can tweak an ac30 plus plexi style dual amp patch to get close enough to that “kerang”....
EDIT: I got pretty close using the Essex 30 model as a pre-amp to a plexi, and Marshall IR split with a “WhoWatt” cab. sick with a strat!

no bs buddy this is sicknasty454 and you know i upgrade my everything every few weeks no lie no brag every time someone says what should i get i dont even have to think its a reflex they get the thought half way out im yelling tone junkie .......... and every next amp is the best ? i think you take a li something every time and it shows your still tweaking things and every next pack is the next best bc that much more of your time has gone into bettering the process which anyone who watches your understanding knows between you and chris kemper ya on the same page now hush and take my money ! jk you hooked it up last night
