@Nessa Marie to be fair many people run a business using some of these techniques and have spent a lot of time and money learning how to do it. Creators certainly don't have to share their knowledge if they don't want to. And in terms of the ink it HAS to be laser printer ink (i think i specified this in the video sorry if i didn't 😊).
I was starting a resin business and I was really confused about how to stickers on resin untill you upload this, thank you soo much this help me a lot 💕
I have to say this was genuinely one of the most helpful video's I've seen in a long time! Thank you so much for sharing! I loved the UV resin on vinyl idea!! I am curious your technique of not trapping bubbles under your sheet when laying them in resin/coasters. I angle them in but always seem to get bubbles. Pre-coating the bottom of the sheet helps eliminate the bubbles that like to 'stick' to the sheet but I still get some sneaky ones here and there. Wanna give you big props all around your pieces are so very perfect and professional looking, your video is so well paced and informative and your voice is so pleasant! You've found a new subscriber in me! Looking forward to digging into some more vids :)
Thank you for your kind words! I still sometimes get tiny micro bubbles under my sheets but not too often. High viscosity (thin) resin will help with this!
@@SeriouslyCreative Well if a pro like you still gets bubbles perhaps I can forgive myself for getting some too then :) It was probably a typo but thought I'd risk pointing out I think you meant that low viscosity resin is thin :) (don't ask me how I remember my teachers lecture back in school days "Viscosity is 'the resistance to flow'" haha Low number, low resistance to flow. I always mis-word that too as its kind of a counter-intuitive word if you think of it..)
I appreciate this video SO MUCH 😭 I have been trying to figure this out, buying all the wrong things and feeling so defeated and I just want to create pretty things! Thank you so much for getting to the point and making it easy to understand! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Some great tips in here. And thanks for giving it an easy-to-find title, as I saw it before and wanted to find it again. I got a Cricut a few months ago and wanted to try it with my resin projects. I like your ideas of UV resin and transparency. Very helpful. Thanks!

One time, a tiny piece jumped and got into my eye. So be careful when peeling vinyl sticker when you’re an idiot like me
I just got a joy when it came out. I'm still learning but holographic vinyl is now on my list to try. A tip for people who may want to avoid edges with transparency paper and cricut/etc.: you can cut the transparency paper to size by hand or with your machine and apply to your item. Only if edges are really a sticking point for you

I get so excited for your videos!!!! I have question. I am in Canada and its hard to get the resin you have but in wondering what resin you think is best or like a top 2 you would prefer. Im going to be using shaker molds. :) I tried the brand ART RESIN and i find its not that great. :(
Hey! Its hard for me to recommend resins cos the brand i use is sold in australia and newzealand only. But the ones i'd recommend is Barnes, Dalchem or JustResin 😊
In the states here - I know I'm not SC, but just in case it helps from someone also in North America: Art'n'Glow Resin and Resin Obsession casting resin are epoxy (non-UV) resins that are good quality and easy to use for similar projects to Simply's. As for UV, I've heard good things about Limino, as well as Sophie and Toffee's brand, and I think both are fairly accessible in NA. Good luck!!
I love your tutorials and watching your work. I have a quick question, the leaf pattern ik n the black tray where can I find that? Thanks. And great artwork .
Thank you for sharing this! I'm a bit confused though in the beginning. You said you take your images to the store and print them out using their laser printer. Do you put them on a thumb drive, or take your laptop with you??
Hello, I just bought a Cricut (fresh out of the box lol) and have not used it yet would you be able to tell me a little about the vinyl you used for this video. What do I look for? I see "Premium Vinyl" on the Michaels website....would that be it and what was the colour/type you used? It was beatiful. Thank you for sharing, I will use this video for reference.
I never thought of using uv resin on vinyl stickers! Instead of transfer tape, you can also use packing tape since it's cheaper. I just grab a piece of tape, press it 1/2 times on my table so it will lose a little bit of its stickiness, and I usually can use it to 3/4 inserts. I usually just stick the vinyl on top of the finished piece if it's a flat one, this way I don't have to use the transparency film for it. And for shakers, I just cut the transparency with cricut at the shape I want, and then I add the vinyl straight to it before putting on my charms. Then I just glaze the piece, and it's done :3
And also, which settings to you usally use for cutting vinyl? I have better results when using washi sheet for small details than when using vinyl settings
Thank you so much! I have been looking for THIS SPECIFIC tutorial for at least an hour now, I just needed to know if you go do foil sheets without transfer paper dang it! XD also thank you for being very clear and concise, straight to the point now i udnerstand and can doodle tommorow!
