Its 2 yrs after this video but what I dont understand is when listing the exact color reds, WHY do artists list “bright or dark” red. I dont own a single red labeled “bright red” or “dark red”. This is SUCH beautiful REDS - exactly what Im needing for my oil painting of a gerbera daisy & I just wish you’d list the exact color of reds (if theres a brand of paint that HAS bright or dark red, please let me know)! TY. Beautiful job!!

I am a beginner and I've had more luck with successful paintings than from a longer tutorial where someone walks you through. You just have to pay close attention to his process. Acrylics dry very fast and how fast depends on your environment....keep trying and if you want it badly enough I promise you'll be happy with your painting! My family was amazed with my paintings based off of Peter's video's, nothing is going to look exactly like his but I'd assume that he's done this for a long time. Just keep trying!!! @@TinysMakeup i don't paint i draw deceased people that look alive again but ill try and draw this but its hard because artist paint how they see things and only in their perspective, anyway the colors used are amazing and very captivating to the eye, makes me wonder what one was thinking as they were painting it, 1 single painting can tell many different stories.
