I live in South Carolina and my onions left GA and went to PA and back to SC tour of 5 days USPS is crazy. Onions was in good shape.
Mine did the same thing! Piedmont area of South Carolina
My garlic did the same. I live in south Georgia. Took 3 weeks after going to PA

First one I have seen mentioning extra sulfur for onions. Have seen many saying to add extra nitrogen later.
Come the next time you guys ship out onions I will be buying proximately 500 to 1000 transplants. Looking forward to it. Send me heads up when it’s time I know it’s months away.

Good information. I just recently got a product called Bulb Plus that is specially formulated for onions and garlic and has alot of those things in it. Luckily there are next to no bugs right now; great for the plants but not for finding feeders for my lizards, LOL!
I love watching you planting in the South, doing planting chores that I don't even begin to think of until March! Keeps me going through the winter.

Last season We couldn't due to a bad back surgery an caught SEPSIS, but this year , we are prepared , even though my back in not well my husband bought me a rolling garden seat ...
Plus we need to order some ammonia sulfate from yall
Our last onions in then end of April 2022 we amazing and over 335 onions .

My onions came in last week, and they were beautiful, got them planted the next day with rabbit poop in my furrow! Hope for next year!

How long did it take to get your seeds? I placed a rather big order to get ready for next year. And build my seed collection and they left GA got into texas and supposedly are now back in GA starting too get worried lol

I've been ordering from Hoss tools for several years now , even just got our onions last week , they are always very fast shipping , but remember we just had Thanksgiving & the postoffice was closed , just call them they are super friendly and willing also to answer any questions you might have .

We were able to grow onions with row covers to keep the insect out, but quite a hassle.

I usually order from Dixondale, but was not impressed with theirs the past two yrs. Yours however, are so healthy with no rotting slime.

I got my transplants from you last week, I have them in the ground on drip tape. Won’t be able to do injection yet, but how soon do you start fertilizing them after you put them in the ground?
