    Let’s clear this up comments section. The backhand is similar to Venus Williams with the drooping wrists. The forehand is similar to many WTA forehands you see today with the long backswing that goes behind his body. Not necessarily a Serena Williams forehand. (Edit) The service routine after comparing the 2 does look eerily similar to Serena Williams.

      @@TennisTrollChannel TTC. From a coaching stand point, you are coming out of your serve motion too late and instead of going 'up' after the ball with your legs and body, you are only able to get to the standing up position to make good contact. Your contact point and height above your head is good, however because you are late getting to the ball, you have no leg power and lift off of the ground, and if so, maybe a few inches at best. You are also balanced heavy left. You arch your back well to build power, however you stay in that position and don't rotate back 'up' to use that build up. Because of that, you often fall off to the left after a good serve, and it will be harder and harder to get serve receives off to your right up the line. This loses power as well, because your push is to the left, instead of balanced right behind you and forcing the serve, your body, and power forward.

    • @TennisTrollChannel
      @TennisTrollChannel  3 роки тому

      Brett Groen I agree- I always feel like I’m falling to the left. Thank you for tips and suggestion. I’ll try this at the next outing. I’ve made a few videos already so may be a while before we see improvement, but I think this may solve some issues that I have. Thank you.

    Just some advice. On his second serve you would split step and then jump backwards. Losing power, depth and ultimately aggression. Its interesting because on his first serve you moved into the ball better and had some pretty good returns when you stepped in. Honestly I think you have the shots to match up and maybe win if you switched your gameplan around. Honestly the biggest difference ive seen over the years between 5.0 and open level or people who are like utr 8-10 and 11-13 is strategy, serving and sometimes athleticism. He plays angles beautifully and sets up his strengths for winners and is constantly looking to. You could do the same :)

    The Tennis Tournament Champion employs very solid tactics and strategy. You can see why he has won so many sets, matches and tournaments. The manner in which he hits the ball ( Serena’s BH) is not as important as his strategy as in placement, pace and purpose to win each point. The fact that his opponent in the Red Shirt plays D1 didn’t mean much because he lost . You are only as good as your record of winning against highly skilled and successful opponents.

    • @TennisTrollChannel
      @TennisTrollChannel  3 роки тому

      thomas medeiros this is a well thought out comment. Thank you for sharing. I agree. Strategy is critical as we also see that in another video- ‘Most Exhausted Player.’ To not confuse viewers, I am a former D1 from 17+ years ago. Not current. Regardless, how blue use tactics and strategy to win are to be noted as we can all add these elements to our games and improve.

    Hard to imagine he played D1 and nobody could coach that style out of him. I'm guessing it was a non-recruiting D1. That guy for that serena samurai backhand lol. One thing I would comment on is to maybe work on your ability to punish short balls. Just an example is 3:30 where you got a decent return and he pops up a short ball off the backhand. You should kill that ball, but instead hit a passive shot back to his forehand which was hit for a winner. Just something I noticed. Otherwise, nice video.

She had bigger calves, thighs, arms, asz and of course a chest... Paes weight was 180 something. I’m guessing she was close to 200 lbs. How does an estrogen producer have that bulk doing a semi aerobic sport where conditioning and flexibility are wanted not mass?
