Thank you both for all the info, greatly appreciated. David, do you know happen to know if DHI is still suitable for someone with advanced male pattern baldness? I'm 35 and I'm guessing I'm at a norwood 6 level. I've read on the internet that its more catered towards touching up, perfecting hairlines, etc rather than trying to cover large areas. I may have the wrong impression. For those in southern California I did notice a DHI clinic just across the border in Tijuana. Overall great reviews, just a few negative ones but they were sure to respond and address the concerns.
It's really all about the surgeon and the tech team doing the surgery, not about the tool they are using. That said DHI is a new tool so from what I've heard there are only a few surgeons in the world that are using it to do world-class level hair transplants at this point. It takes time to get great at using any tool.
I'm not sure why it's not used in the US exactly. But DHI is just a tool. In the hands of an excellent surgeon with years of experience using DHI I'm sure you will be fine. But the same goes for any tool and any surgeon. Don't focus on the tool. Focus on who the carpenter is using it.
@@GetLocklab I completely agree. It's the artist that matters. :). I live in Minnesota, and after doing google search I found Shapiro Medical Group (Ron, Paul, David). Their website says (for FUT): "We charge $5.50 per graft (USD) for the first 2,000 grafts. For grafts over 2,000, the price drops to $3.00 per graft (USD)." What do you think of them? I can email you, if you want to share with me any other details. Appreciate it.
There’s one in Totowa New Jersey, I’m actually getting a transplant the next following week. DHI. Edit: the place is called eternal hair and esthetics. They’re awesome at pricing by the way.
@@78swats totally, I’m from New York so they’re not that far from me. I’m getting 2k graft for 6,300$ they place looks awesome and the staff is very knowledgeable. You can call and contact Omar, he’s one of the manager I think, he’ll help you. Check the before and after in their website. Everything is legit. Also, Omar had a hair transplant and its hair looks natural as f** excuse the word. Edit: Sure, I can let you know, if I remember lol. Just post something thus I can be notified.

Very informative. But why can't I find any DHI clinics in US?
