Nobody gave the “modernist” wolves 🐺 any authority to reconstruct the Catholic Church in their image and likeness - NOBODY‼️
I also experienced the changes during my teenage years. I remember thinking if they got it “wrong” all these years how do we know they have it “right”now. It was the catalyst for my leaving the church for 40 years. I only wish that since I have returned there was a latin mass closer to me, someday……

I love the clarity and simplicity of Michael Davies' writing and here, is a perfect foil for PDG. When it comes to "cafeteria Catholicism", he leaves no room for ambiguity or doubt. Such a contrast to much of the wearisome long winded documents coming from Rome. Thank you.

Michael Davies was a brilliant man he is so sadly missed.
That part quoting or referencing Pope Leo XIII about how denying even one doctrine is denying the whole Faith is SO key. It makes God out to be a liar or makes His Church out to be a deceiver and makes the opinions of the individual the pillar of faith, which ultimately is an act of making God in our image and likeness.

There was a rupture in the Church with Vatican II....does it take 60 years for us to realize it when people like Michael Davies were sounding the alarm but not many listened to them because of the word "obedience"....obedience to the modern changes which caused many to lose their Faith and many priests, sisters and religious to leave their vocation. Pope St. Pius X sounded the alarm against Modernism with all that he wrote against it calling it the synthesis of ALL HERESIES! HERE WE ARE! God help us through the prayers of our Most Holy Mother Mary!

You are correct. In fact, I've been going round to various channels and have even seen more than a few 20-something Catholics spouting about how obedience to the pope is the number one duty of all Catholics. (Not obedience to Jesus.) There is some channel (maybe the tattooed one) out there that is propagandizing them to believe the nonsense. There really are modern day Pharisees at work, using 'logic' and select quotes to arrive at such false beliefs.
I think the best way to dismantle the blind-obedience nonsense is to first dismantle the underlying nonsense that the Holy Ghost ensures that every conclave elects a good and holy man. History clearly proves that to be false.

If one reads Pope Leo XIII's encyclicals and Pacendi, along with Our Lady of Quito,Fatima and Akita.Then Father Murr's book and Julia Meloni's book, there is a clear, crystal clear picture painted.I would also recommend The War of the AntiChrist by Monsignor Dillon..as well. (Rev 12:17 Gen 3:15 unfolding before our eyes.)

Thank you Antony, great show. I came across Modernism in the mid 1980s being taught in a Catholic Seminary in Holland. It was a shock to the system, but a big eye opener and a good preparation for what was going to filter out into the Parishes.

Gnosticism is the root of Modernity on Orthodoxreflections. See it. Gnosticism is the belief that salvation can be found through special knowledge. It was the belief of the Cathars and protestantism. They have the special knowledge.

Just came from a charismatic conference. I went with a friend. Many, many priests and religious there. The people were orthodox in the Faith, and reverent. Some of the priests were in cassocks. All zealous to serve God and advance the Kingdom of God. And yes, the presiding bishop stressed loyalty to the pope. Well, one has to be careful what one says in public, nowadays.
One of the priests, a Benedictine monk, did a talk on Tradition (his preferred method), and the civil war going on in the Church (my words), noting that the young people want those "dry bones". He believes these days are the days referred to in Ezekiel, , and these bones are to be prophesied to and life breathed into them, and resurrected.
He noted how the mainstream Church's young people are demanding Tradition. He believes believes there is a way to blend both worlds, and there are many who feel that way. I am one of them.
I believe this is what will prevail...as Fr. Boniface says, both ""tongues" and Tradition.
Anyway, many at this conference will be at the Eucharistic Congress. Many are praying for unity and orthodoxy. I would hope everyone is, but we know better, don't we....
Man was created by God in His image and likeness of the Holy Trinity - see Genesis. IT follows that every human being was created as a Temple of God, The Sanctuary of the Holy Spirit and also the Tabernakulum, and if This is so, IT is a place accepting God's Love and giving ourselves to God out of Love through Love in the Spirit and in the Truth, and in Us transformation of our Body and Soul into the Glorious Body of Christ takes place, the Immaculate Conception of the Soul Tales places in Us - Overshadowing Us by The power of the Most High through the Holy Spirit when our Soul becomes similar to Mary and through her intercession as our Mather and Christ's Mather, the transformation of Us into gods takes place by The grace of Christ, and through God the Father. So what was the purpose of creating the Catholic Church? To control the faithful? To hide the Truth in signs and symbols? For money? Catholic Church, Vatican Has the structure a financial piramid, not financial benefit foundation, living off the faith of unaware communities or using the powerful knowledge of mistics to maintain their status and power. The Institutions of the Church itself, the Vatican, Has nothing to do with faith and the accumulation of merits in the treasury of Christ for Eternal life, IT does not care about The transformation of Water into Wine in human Souls, stored in New wineskins of people newly Born in the bosom in the Church, on the contrary, their actions and behavior are focused on isolating such personalities, hiding the Truth under the carpet, and the Control network Has the task reaping the material benefits and killing True faith and Truth and Love in Us and hiding IT all in signs and symbols, therefore Catholic Church is a spider's web of worms devouring God's children in Us and a Monster WHO wants to devour our Souls, therefore the Catholic Church is of took of The Devil and in name it is only the Church of Christ.
