The idea of playing Mozart Piano Sonatas on Harp has been realized more then 100 years ago.
It was the time of impressionism, but music of Mozart is paradoxically connected to impressionists paintings and especially to August Renoir's style.
Nowadays Mozart music for piano is rarely playing on harp.
The idea of bringing back the old tradition of performing Mozart piano music on harp to our postmodernist reality has been raised in my mind with the raising of the coronavirus epidemic all around the world.
I was sitting at home quarantined. Thinking of how to prepare my family to coronavirus. Free for 14 days! It has been spontaneous, intuitive and calming decision to start playing the Mozart sonata in C major, one of the best known Mozart masterpieces (well known as music for kids).
It really helps against stress: it's great music for kids, music for families, music for cats and dogs, music for relaxing, beautiful music for everybody.
Then I've recorded Mozart Piano Sonata No.16 K.545. I've got 14 minutes of beautiful soothing relaxation music for 14 days of quarantine.
Why Pierre-August Renoir appears together with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart?
Renoir art works combine with this music very well. There is something extremely common between his paintings and Mozart's musical style. The overall mood of the painting is very similar to classical musics mood, especially in regard to the early classical period. It has character, connected with sincerely calming music.
Together with Renoir paintings as video footage, this video is great as a youtube classical music for all music lovers. The music helps to take a break, to relieve stress, to relax. It truly helps everyone.
I believe this soothing music strengthens the immune system. I've finished my quarantine without getting infected :-).
For classical music outsiders:
This video is useful as music for relaxation, music for taking a break, music against stress, music for rest, music for studying, music for most productive workday... and music for peaceful meditation. It had been created by playing great music of great composer and using great paintings of great artist.
