Con Mozart non si può ascoltare che capolavori. Questo Quartetto per flauto, violino , viola e violoncello è un dialogo fra strumenti che si parlano e si rispondono, con una sonorità solare, come tutta la musica di Mozart che , nell'apparente semplicità, raggiunge la perfezione armonica e contrappuntistica. Linea verticale perfetta, che però non deve farci dimenticare la linea orizzontale della melodia piacevole in tutti i movimenti, non privi di variazioni , non facili, soprattutto per il flauto. Dolce e romantico il secondo movimento , con richiami bucolici , tipici del flauto , strumento ,ab antiquo , dei pastori.( Virgilio , rivolto e Titiro ...meditaris avena).

so bubbly, light and free, it's like a morning river rising to meet sun....the most beautiful and optimistic day imaginable...endless possibility, that is what this music makes me think of.
That melody at 6:50 is one of the loveliest things Mozart wrote - like the second movement of his duo concertante for violin and viola or the second movement in his piano concerto number 23 in A - bittersweet and poignant and profound.

My ex-boyfriend played the flute, and his led me to start listening to classical music. Although we eventually broke up, I am forever grateful to him for introducing me to the world of classical music. until now, flute is my favorite instrument in the orchestra, like other woodwinds, it brings a unique lightness to symphonic pieces.

The reason mozarts music, and also another or non modern composers music, is quite simple and easy to follow in its melodic and harmonic structure and flows so well is because there was simply no way of writing down musical thoughts in bulk from improvisation. Therefore you either had to have very good memory to stand a chance of remembering your initial ideas or you just had to craft the music as you went. But mozarts strategy, due to his unnaturally well developed aural imagination from playing at a very young age, was to imagine the music in his head, plan it out, then write it down. Often didn't even need a keyboard or any other instruments. Other composers did this even centuries after, but never to the extent or the success of Mozart.

I've felt it as the music of the wind when it blows happily. In the absence of lyrics, music is perhaps more infinite in terms of its vastness across the sky and endless depth like an ocean. It represents the infinite nature more purely & perfectly.
Very smart of them to adapt the Oboe Quartet for flute, adding it to the four masterpieces for flute and strings. It works perfectly well, not only because the oboe and flute have the same pitch range, but because Mozart's compositions (like those of the Baroque composers who preceded him) are not wedded to specific instruments, and thus can easily be adapted to almost any instruments.
@@DieFlabbergast As long as the instrument being used for an adaptation has the same range as the original I can't see the harm in exploring the expressive possibilities of a substitution.
On the contrary, most of Mozart's compositions are expertly tailored to the unique qualities of the instruments he writes for, and even to the talents of the specific players he had in mind. The oboe and flute were the closest he ever came to them being interchangeable, and he did adapt his oboe concerto to the flute because he needed to fulfill a commission for two flute concertos and couldn't be bothered coming up with two brand new pieces.
On listening to this melody I should find myself being drawn into the another world where my soul could be totally liberated from this world. Great thanks be to Mozart for his musical blessing❤

Where You write K 385 to the first Quartett in D is likely to read K 285 [1777].The second[more precisely the fourth in A] one ist rightly K 298,[1778].It is now hopefully clear.
I played the K.285 as a violist with my quartet. Mozart's musics are so beautiful, but in most of the musics (chamber musics), the strings players should experience many technical difficulties, particularly with its frequent positions jumping and sudden change in melodies and ritmics and speed that caused common false notes to come if not treated properly. Anyway, the musics are still enjoyable until now.
Bright and sunny on the first piece on thus track (Allegro movement of Quartet in G Maj. K 285). I like the way the orchestra plays up what feels like - contrasting - moonlight mystery in 2nd movement (adagio) of this quartet.

The second movement of the 1st quartet reminds me a mixture of Vivaldi's slow movements of his concerti mixed with Pergolesi's style. Beautiful...

My ex-boyfriend played the flute, and his led me to start listening to classical music. Although we eventually broke up, I am forever grateful to him for introducing me to the world of classical music. until now, flute is my favorite instrument in the orchestra, like other woodwinds, it brings a unique lightness to symphonic pieces.

The reason mozarts music, and also another or non modern composers music, is quite simple and easy to follow in its melodic and harmonic structure and flows so well is because there was simply no way of writing down musical thoughts in bulk from improvisation. Therefore you either had to have very good memory to stand a chance of remembering your initial ideas or you just had to craft the music as you went. But mozarts strategy, due to his unnaturally well developed aural imagination from playing at a very young age, was to imagine the music in his head, plan it out, then write it down. Often didn't even need a keyboard or any other instruments. Other composers did this even centuries after, but never to the extent or the success of Mozart.

Very smart of them to adapt the Oboe Quartet for flute, adding it to the four masterpieces for flute and strings. It works perfectly well, not only because the oboe and flute have the same pitch range, but because Mozart's compositions (like those of the Baroque composers who preceded him) are not wedded to specific instruments, and thus can easily be adapted to almost any instruments.
Oh, yes? Try playing the horn concertos on anything other than French horn or Flugel horn, or maybe trumpet. It would be laughable.
@@DieFlabbergast As long as the instrument being used for an adaptation has the same range as the original I can't see the harm in exploring the expressive possibilities of a substitution.
On the contrary, most of Mozart's compositions are expertly tailored to the unique qualities of the instruments he writes for, and even to the talents of the specific players he had in mind.
The oboe and flute were the closest he ever came to them being interchangeable, and he did adapt his oboe concerto to the flute because he needed to fulfill a commission for two flute concertos and couldn't be bothered coming up with two brand new pieces.
K 285 is one of my favortite. Thanks much for allowing to listen to his music.

I played the K.285 as a violist with my quartet. Mozart's musics are so beautiful, but in most of the musics (chamber musics), the strings players should experience many technical difficulties, particularly with its frequent positions jumping and sudden change in melodies and ritmics and speed that caused common false notes to come if not treated properly. Anyway, the musics are still enjoyable until now.
