Ram Lalla Idol In Ayodhya: Sculptors Yogiraj's Wife Speaks On The Idol's Creation

- Preparations are underway for the mega Ram Mandir 'Pran Pratishtha' (consecration) ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest of the event, which will also mark the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
According to the temple trust, over 7,000 people, including politicians, celebrities, industrialists, saints and around 100 representatives from different countries will attend the ceremony.
The Ram Lalla idol carved by Karnataka's renowned sculptor Arun Yogiraj will be consecrated in the temple. The current idol of Lord Ram which has been worshipped for the last 70 years, will also be kept in the sanctum sanctorum of the new temple.

Any craftsman frm Rajasthan, Maharashtra can do idols, what is so special about it, the work should have been given to a poor person cause we see many craftsman on the road sitting and making idols no help frm the government

@@dhi1083 the Potter and the clay, knows how to make a idol, humans were moulded in that way in the hands of our creator, we are not idols, it's in the way we imagine and make, there is no identity, study the history of the kings of old times they told their craftsmen to make idol which they imagined in their dreams, the people obeyed and did accordingly , many such so called idols can be seen in Egypt, India, the harrapa civilization, Mysore kings idols there was not a name of Ram, sita, laxman go and study the history, and don't dictate terms in you tube, it belongs to everyone
But the clay won't sustain for millennium, the stone that is krishna shila from karnataka will withstand for thousands of years to come. We know for the fact that how vigraha is made from these stones that requires excellence of sculpture techniques when you come across various stone vigrahas in various parts of our country which are more than 1000 years old.
