I'm subscribing and becoming a patreon member just because of this video alone. White noise along with authentic sounds is what makes this video stand out. Too many ASMRists focus too much on isolating noises and triggers. It's hard to find these kinds of vids. In the real world, ASMR doesn't occur in such environments for me. So I really enjoy these kinds of "down to Earth" vids where, by adding in audio noise such as background noise, white noise, slight static, etc. it makes it more relaxing and more enjoyable. It's more realistic, basically.
you probably know this, and im aware im a whole month late, but i reccomend opening a new tab on youtube, and search for ambient sounds or white noise and just play it on low/mid volume, on loop (right click the video btw,) in the backround, then you can enjoy any video :)

For anyone curious, this is a little summary of what the star gate project was (according to what I saw on Wikipedia) The star gate project was a program started in 1970 by the us military after they learned that the Soviet Union was spending 60 million dollars on supposedly “successful” psychic research. They pretty much would check for the things in this video (precognition and clairvoyance mainly) and if they got over 65% correct they where considered legit. It ran from 1972 before being stopped in 1995 because of its ineffectiveness. Even though it ran for like 23 years there where only about 22 “psychics” who ever officially worked there, but by the time it shut down there where only 3. According to Wikipedia the government spent over 20 million dollars over the projects lifetime I was just a little curious about it and figured I’d try to save some time for other people :)
