- How to Fight | Kickboxing Episode 2 With Tim Kennedy
If you like punching people in the face. Let me tell you from first-hand experience that kicking them in the face is even more fun. In this episode of how to fight we cover a variety of drills about how to damage your opponent in a variety of locations. Leg attacks are fantastic. But putting the shin across someone’s face always will hold an extra special place in my heart. What are my favorite moments of the day besides making everyone have to change your underwear after getting kicked in the gut was watching Mike a Bellator fighter and Andrew Craig a UFC fighter play Slappy slap to the face at the 11:20 mark. Seriously though and incredibly talented room. Humbling is always to have the opportunity to trade with such skilled athlete.
These "how to fights" are excellent
His channel is about to blow up even more because of them
I love em
Agreed. Top shelf.
Yeah it is really great free information that’s usually paid for. I would love to be there.

Will be Great to see some transition: KICKBOXING to TAKEDOWNS / BOXING TO TAKEDOWNS .
Great videos so far guys .
Second that! Love to see your favourite ways to close to grappling range.
Boy this comment section is pretty rough. Everybody seems to be asking for something. In the spirit of Thanksgiving Tim, let me just say Thank You. Thank You for all the Free self defense classes you have been giving us. Thanks for your fine culinary cuisine. Thanks for the life skills. Most importantly thank you for your service.
First of all, thank you for your service sir. I watch your training sessions, and I take them back to my gym and run thru them with my partners. Anything you can offer and provide, I use it. Thank you
Thank you Tim for doing this you are helping a fellow soldier to learn more .
PLEASE MAKE MORE!!! ILOVE THESE EPISODES
More kick boxing! Excellent.
LETSSS GOOO!!!! Thanks for the great content!!!! I love these and the cooking videos a lot!!
More BJJ!
I would like see how you would apply head movement with kickboxing??
That's genius
mainly focusing on going back way more instead of leaning in and weaving toward the ground. at least that's what I do
Move your head
I dig these vids, bro. Keep em coming!
You can tell Tim still has the itch lol. I Miss watching this guy fight in the ufc, but thanks for all the content you've put out since then!
Fantastic video! Tim (and the rest of the guys here) are really humble and good-natured. It's not about proving who's better, but instead helping one another get better. Liked how Time gave instruction but still wanted to be a good student as well. That's a real martial artist. Finally, what is that thing on Shane's chest? In any case, great job!
Great video. Slow and smooth techniques. The best way I can learn. Happy Thanksgiving and please keep these videos coming
Thank you so much for any info, especially this!
Awesome.
What a great place to train. Thank you
Awesome stuff, please upload more of these!

Awesome video, fellas!
Happy Thanks Giving Tim. Hope your haveing a good one
Thank you for these sessions. Learning a lot. Background in Taekwondo, Hapkido and Krav Maga. But, I need to learn how to really street fight.
Let’s see some elbow work, most effective takedowns and takedown defense(sprawling) and how to fend off the bad dude when you are gassed(best way to get your wind back without being annihilated). Thanks. Keep ‘em coming.
These are gold
Great vids
Love the content!
More No-Gi
I love these vlog style videos
beautiful videos! what is the duration of one of your kickboxing trainings?
a video i´d like to see is about your training shedule.
stay save and healthy!
Nice work! I come from a Muay Thai background and it would be interesting to see the differences of approach in the street.Luv the footage much respect to all 🙏
tj's drop shift done very nicely, i like
I would suggest teaming up with wonderboy too. Cause both of you guys are doing amazing job at making funny and informative mma videos. Keep it up 👍🏻
Love the new content, huah! 😛
Wrestling bro and keep up the good work, you got a subscriber right here!
Thanks for your service brother if u want to hunt in Colorado get with me be a blast to hang with you
A little bit of kickboxing foot work would be super helpful, even if its just for one drill during one of these videos. Loving this How to Fight series!
Hi Kennedy . Tha's a really nice video and the next one shows the guy's reality no Gi and scape the bad situation. Oss
Hey Tim, I would love to see a video on how to close distance on taller opponents, and exchanging in the pocket. I'm 5'9 and most of my sparring partners are 6ft+. It's annoying. Thanks for the videos!!
Idk why but you remind me of the brown belt I roll with lol. He’s very entertaining and energetic
Next week can we have how to get to the barbershop before lockdown.....you guys have some retro Barnet's.
Savat Training!
Would love to train with Tim Kennedy one day
He seems like a cool guy to be with
Would like to know how to find a good place to train. Looking for a place in San Antonio and want a place similar to where you train.
"This is a toxic work environment" 😂
Where can I get some of those shorts?
Tim would train with giants lol 👍✌
Tim always ruffin up his sparring partners ahaha
Thanks Tim Andrew and the rest if yall!
My hips are very tight, likely from Muay Thai. Can you make a video showing your warm ups and cool downs for kick boxing? Thanks!
Clench and dirty boxing!!
Tim can you make a video of your gun room and favorite guns
God bless America
Would be interesting to see for example how could you train grappling arts, clinches etc., if you have a neck condition that prevents any twisting, preasure and sudden jerking movements etc. being done to the neck region.
Maybe ad a physical therapist in to that the mix + also talk about other injury prevention stuff.
I’d like to see some more bjj and even shooting! Medical training would be cool too.
🤘🏻
Hey Sarge nice gym
Some wrestling would be cool, or more kickboxing. All are great!
Take down defense, disengagement tactics to a safe run away, and environmental fighting
Can you do a "how to fight" on mentally preparing for an mma fight? I'm about to do my 2nd fight and I'm not a naturally aggressive fighter. In jiu jitsu I am aggressive but I really don't like hitting people. The Army taught me violence of action but punching someone has always been a bit difficult for me to do. Unless they really needed punched that is.
Tim, thank you for these videos.
Would you mind doing one on information operations/propaganda? These are threats that are often overlooked in the United States.
Please show some Mai Thia. Maybe also stuff to toughen up shin bones so we don't end up crippled
Foot work and movement drills that compliment both grappling and striking arts.
A how to fight wrestling episode would be awesome
U said said comment in the Al Pastor video about what we'd like to see/ learn so...
Progression of kicking high, learning to kick the head (mobility)
A video on self defense training would be great
Some more stuff on positioning yourself and setting up to get to good positions while standing would be good. Like things so you don't just step one way and they follow you.
Calf kicks seem to be insane right now took the fighting Irish out let’s see your technique in those
Takedowns and takedown defence please!
Come do a seminar at my gym..I train with Bubba Bush!
Damn yo where is this gym and how do I go there. Bad ass crossfit gym with a giant fighting mat. My head is exploding .
Been a while, when are you treating us to a How to Fight Episode 3? 🙏
Hey i just saw your 25 second video of disarming and was wondering if you could make a more detailed video, because it seemed unrealistic. Thanks
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!
Hate punching, love kicking. I like having my hands not broken, but my feet and legs can take much more punishment.
Gun and or knife defense?
5 minute rounds. No pads on last round. Take downs are always in. Yep, don't want to mess with those guys!
Edited to add: 10 min round grappling to finish. Haha.
That front teep though. Getting em good.
Want to see? High percentage for self defence or grappling with weapons.
Btw I absolutely fucking love these videos
I would love to learn.I imagine this takes years to be good
As someone who did 6 years of MMA : do it ! You won't have any regret.
Don't let the fact that you are new to the sport restrain new from trying. Everyone who tries fighting sports love it.
I have to stop watching kickboxing videos. I’m trying to convince myself to switch to BJJ because I’ve had to many scary concussions. But then I see you guys having fun kicking each other’s organs and I wanna put the gloves on again 😂
“No Draim Bramage around here”. Schpeek for jorshelf
More heavy bag Stuff for all of us bored at home
What’s the intros song??
How to throw elbows and knees
Blocking and guards
How about worst case self-defense scenarios?
Some Krav Maga style training please. Keep up the great content..
LOVE these videos... but please get some new background music; it is driving me nuts. But for real I have been craving this content!
Da dananana du du du
