Awesome video, thank you. I installed Techline on a laptop that had the VCX Nano software suite already installed and got errors during Techline installation and then errors in Techline after selecting the VCX when attempting to communicate to the vehicle. I had another clean laptop so followed your steps and it worked perfectly first time. My advice for others getting errors with previous installations of the VCX Nano software is to uninstall everything and start from scratch using the steps shown in this tube.
Great Video and good content. It was also very well presented. I have been using the VCX Nano since Windows XP, and back then you needed to use the Virtual Machine. It has been native to the 64 bit environment for quite some time. Mine has been worth its weight in gold. Usually people who are having problems with it are usually missing a file which the anti virus software has removed without their knowledge. Again great video
I just purchased this vcx nano because of your original video and couldn't get it to work. Found these 2 videos and thought you had the fix and realized you didn't. Did some more digging, and realized that if you change the date on your PC to before the licence expired (I changed mine to 1/1/24) the software works. Now weather or not you can flash a bcm from the website like this I'm not sure.
@@LowbuckLS I just used tech2win so far, literally just got it this evening, needed to diag what I believe to be a bad bcm. Don't really know what I'm doing yet lol
Hey I just watched and followed your video step by step. But when im using the techline connect it doesnt let me go into setting of programing my BCM it just goes straight to program and my car restarts but nothing changes. The only difference that i noticed in your video is the vcx nano firmware is 1.9.5.0 and mines 1.9.4.0 and its saying that is the most up to date. Have you ever encountered this problem? Have any tips or tricks for me? I can send you a video of me attempting to perform the program.
Hey man super thanks for the new video! Still waiting for my vcx nano but I was curious if I'm swapping the body control module is there a specific process I need to follow or can I basically take the old one out and put the new one in then program it or do I have to do something beforehand?
I did every step in regards to the Tech Connect and saw all of the updates you had. Once it was done I clicked on "Launch" and got a UEH101NULL error. Any ideas on that?
Randy I followed your programming to the T so far but Cannot seem to program my BCM on my Hummer H3 as it keeps throwing E4491 E4423 when it begins to program the BCM interview tries three times and then faults out.
Im doing a auto to manual trans swap on my silverado, is there i way i can do it without doing anything to the PCM? If i do got to change anything in the PCM or a module would a GMtech2 diag tool work? im struggling with finding anything out researching the internet
I did everything like you explain I’m trying to add a new key fob but it show up communication error do you have any idea of what could be wrong thanks for the video
That’s because you started the app with the dongle already installed to the car. Set everything up and connect the dongle as the last step. Had the same issue.
Hello very nice video! I live in Bulgaria, Europe and i tried to flash my tcm on my GMC Sierra 2014. I purchased a subscription SPS for 2 hours and was 18 euros. When i download the software it downloaded me TLCSuite 2, which i think is not the installation file and when i tried to launch techline connect from the browser it gives me error UEH101: null. I waste my money. Please help me and thanks in advance!
Looks like there are some newer versions of the VCX Diag. I'm mostly a GM guy but might use it on other brands. Which of their devices do you suggest currently? And with which configuration, i.e. with Wifi or without etc.. I have a laptop I will use with it unless there's a newer or better way to go. Thanks
@@trainingdragon1964 I haven’t used any of the newer models, but I’m always leary of using wifi when flashing modules, I prefer to stick to a hard wired connection.
Just got my VCX Nano. I'm following your procedure however I've got the device connected to my laptop but it seems my laptop and VCX software wont' recognize the device. I get the big RED X across the device on the software. On the device when I first plug it in it beeps and I get the red and blue lights light up, but then the blue light goes out. Tried to hit reconnect but no joy. Any suggestions? Thanks
Are you using a virtual machine (VMware) if so, you have to let the computer know if you’re connecting to the actual physical PC or the virtual instance. Let me know if this helps if not we’ll figure it out together.
After installing the techline with the newest Tech2win it doesn’t recognize the VCX nano anymore. Only the version of tech2win that comes with the driver works. Any fix around that?

I tried using the VCX VX Nano to replace and reprogram the TCM on a 2015 Suburban following a reman trans install. I gave it up as a bad deal.
