You have ambition, but if you're going to quit your job you must give it your 1000%, and it will still be tough, as at 870 subscribers you still aren't monetised for ads. (I'm kind of in the same boat except I'm a student) You do need direction, you need to figure out what your channel will be about, and sometimes you still don't "make it". Don't rush it.
I know I'm talking a huge risk here man I have ideas and I don't want to rush but my views just keep growing and seeing all the amazing people show up just gets me so hyped up
Algo brought me here. Find your niche and post up!!! Try and do both before you take the dive just for some security, you'll have to dig deeper for a bit, but any youtube progress you get while you have money coming in is extra credit. FIND YOUR NICHE AND DIG DEEP HERE FOR THE RIDE!
It's a lot more to building a youtube channel than having the drive and need to do so. There's a science to it, and since you'll have a lot of time on your hands, you can dedicate your days and weeks to learning it.
It seems like you never got yourself into a career and just doing random jobs to get by in the meantime which is a big No No. Try to get into a trade or learn some Tech skills and get into a less labor intensive field. UA-cam is very hard to get into and takes a while to get something going if successful. You could get your CDL and be a OTR driver and have a place to sleep while making close if not more than 6 figures a year, OTR trucking would give you the traveling you want to due and you can be a youtuber. There is many truckers with successful youtube channels, if you don't want to be away from the house then I encourage you to seek state help for example state reconnect programs that pay for adults to go back to collage or get into a trade school.
The key is finding a job you aren’t miserable and angry at. I took a dramatic pay cut and got a job working 4 10’s with a lot of PTO, holidays and good health insurance. I can now take multiple vacations a year and the stress on my heart has dramatically decreased. I would also like to suggest that you don’t have anything* to work for maybe? Men need purpose. When you find a wife and have a child it gives you motivation and drive when things get tough
a lot of people are missing the point life is way to short to just work at jobs that don't care about you I rather have a risk taking life into my own hands my number one saying why take advice form someone I don't want to be like
Well society functions because people work these jobs. Banks, hospitals, farms, police, construction workers, plumbers etc. If everyone sat at home and made UA-cam videos we would be in big trouble. I'm not going to shoot down anyone's dreams I was just suggesting an alternative since it seems like you've been working jobs that are soul draining. The overwhelming majority of men want a wife and family and providing for that family gives them purpose. I suppose if you have no debt and money saved up to take a risk, absolutely go for it. Anything can happen
@@fundamentalbear8347 I've head this many times your crazy UA-cam won't work all I'm saying is money is to be made once I have that I'll have time to get a wife and kids they won't ever have to live a bad life knowing that I can take care of them I rather lay on my death bed knowing that I tried at something in life I didn't get a job because I had to I will become successful
I fully support you, I just think it’s best you first get a higher viewership. Once you get a decent amount, reach out to companies asking them for sponsorships. This is where you’ll get the big bucks. Just look at Mr.beast, he started off giving away his first sponsorships money to a homeless person and look where he is now. Dedicate yourself to doing more research but you’ll definitely get the ball moving with that
Not gonna sugarcoat it, this is a bad idea. If you really wanna pursue YT you either need a boatload of savings to last at least a year bare minimum or you need a job. If you are serious about this, get a part time job. I better see you uploading every day. The competition is fierce.
Kid, in the real world, ain’t no one quitting their jobs. Especially in this economy? Those people that you see quitting are like the 0.0001%. Don’t let the social media fool you. Yes, people are waking up and getting tired of the 9-5 system. Are they all quitting? No. Are people resorting to becoming UA-camrs? Absolutely not. Most realize the amount of work and time that goes into being a UA-camr, especially in the early stages. People who are currently working don’t have the energy or time to do that, so it’s not even an option for most. It’s not on the minds of people who are actually working atm. Do not quit your day job if you want to become an influencer.

I think you gotta be really careful with this man. Maybe reduce your hours if you really want to do yt, but I wouldn't even do that until you get substantially bigger. And if you are gonna do yt over your job gotta give 100 percent and do it seriously. That means making high-quality videos with proper editing and thumbnails. It also means that your videos should have a structure to them and a proper topic, like video essays or whatever you pursue. Again, I really wouldn't outright quit your job, that's not really smart and could get you in some deep financial shit. DO BOTH TO START AND THEN WAIT TILL YOU GET BIGGER AND YOU HAVE A STEADY STREAM OF INCOME AND CASH FLOW, OTHERWISE, THATS FUCKING CRAZY. u do u tho, just be smart
Keep your job and do UA-cam. Use some of your job money to invest in your YT channel (pay for video editors, ads etc). That will increase your viewership for sure. Especially in the beginning. Then you can cut down on it once you have a fanbase.

I'm hoping to, one day, if I ain't drafted (🥰) start doing my job from home (vehicle conversions) and learn carpentry and make videos on those.
