Hey bro Love the content, my girl and I started a channel and we been daily vlogging for 19 days now. I know it takes a lot more videos and time to build a channel but non of our videos have over 10-15 views. We use custom thumbnails and catchy titles to try an get the click. We are authentic and ourselves on camera but we are not seeing any views really. I see your a new channel with only 6 videos but your views are awesome for only having 6 videos and being a new channel (also almost 1k subs) I also see Other new channels with 2-3 videos with a title like "dec 18th, 2024" with a thumbnail youtube generated and the video has like 150-200 views... Do you have any suggestions on our page/thumbnails/titles to help with the views?

You should travel Europe - make a series from the American perspective of lifestyle, culture, food, music etc in various European countries. Top tip - go for the Southern & Eastern Europe (they are the best)

I think you gotta be really careful with this man. Maybe reduce your hours if you really want to do yt, but I wouldn't even do that until you get substantially bigger. And if you are gonna do yt over your job gotta give 100 percent and do it seriously. That means making high-quality videos with proper editing and thumbnails. It also means that your videos should have a structure to them and a proper topic, like video essays or whatever you pursue. Again, I really wouldn't outright quit your job, that's not really smart and could get you in some deep financial shit. DO BOTH TO START AND THEN WAIT TILL YOU GET BIGGER AND YOU HAVE A STEADY STREAM OF INCOME AND CASH FLOW, OTHERWISE, THATS FUCKING CRAZY. u do u tho, just be smart

Sometimes a job is the best option. UA-cam can ban you at any moment for any or no reason. I lost a channel with 12K subs over night.

Jake, for some reason God keeps bringing me back to you. I don’t know why. I have no idea why this keeps happening, but if you’re serious about UA-cam, would you be interested in trying to help each other? Maybe try to help figure out what works and what doesn’t work? I’ve been researching my channel myself but it’s hard to know where to improve without looking at others and getting their experiences and data, too. Kid, in the real world, ain’t no one quitting their jobs. Especially in this economy? Those people that you see quitting are like the 0.0001%. Don’t let the social media fool you. Yes, people are waking up and getting tired of the 9-5 system. Are they all quitting? No. Are people resorting to becoming UA-camrs? Absolutely not. Most realize the amount of work and time that goes into being a UA-camr, especially in the early stages. People who are currently working don’t have the energy or time to do that, so it’s not even an option for most. It’s not on the minds of people who are actually working atm. Do not quit your day job if you want to become an influencer.

Don’t know you but work on your channel and content until it’s good enough to get monetized first, don’t quit and go broke waiting for that. Your audience is in the algorithm, just figure out how to make the most of it. By making great content regularly. Find your audience. It takes work. You can work on the side as well or get a more pleasant job.

I fully support you, I just think it’s best you first get a higher viewership. Once you get a decent amount, reach out to companies asking them for sponsorships. This is where you’ll get the big bucks. Just look at Mr.beast, he started off giving away his first sponsorships money to a homeless person and look where he is now. Dedicate yourself to doing more research but you’ll definitely get the ball moving with that

(I"m pretty bad at public/vocal speaking that sometimes I don't speak to the point where I forget how to speak properly, I'm sure when I start my channel ill get that issue fixed with myself however I can communicate or write/text in deep sentimental levels) I'v seen many 9-5's and the "start your youtube channels" genre however it isn't a real genre yet its definitely a damn wake up call and a really inspiring and creative one infact, 9-5's are truly miserable and I say this with very open mindfulness because sometimes there are those who only have their 9-5's for absolute survival or even those who have worse or horrifying jobs even the military. I'm even just 17 but I overthink so damn much and I'm actually worrying about money and questioning my productiveness, I feel anti social and I have anxiety but I wanna comment and give you encouragement because encouragement is really strong and even though I have no right in talking about discipline or even productiveness because trust me I'm probably lazy as hell and some basic gaming addict with a Mac and a phone My mom had a long talk with me because I'm also dealing with my existential crisis, feeling lost because I absolutely gave up doing my homework/REALLY want to drop out that's how much I hate it and realized its not even about "escape the matrix' its legit about actually having to survive literally and I know I'm running out of time with my decisions. Everyone has stakes and everyone has their dreams including mines but so is the cruel reality we live in and that's just another message of "everything will still be okay" at least I hope so... And my mom also talked to me about "discipline" but the way I see discipline (my opinion btw) when your striving towards something with your actions that doesn't cause you to feel enslaved and misery that makes you depressed that's definitely not even discipline at this point its torment. I see so much potential in you and your human just like all of us, most of us lack self love and some lack the ability to even decide what to do or are even just pure anxious and lazy/etc which are tragedies not something to make fun of no not at all. Discipline does fall in hand because It is also true we need it like what my mom said during those serious talks. I don't feel like a kid or even a adult but I always miss those simple times or that feeling of "freedom" I worked at McDonalds for over a year and there's absolutely no need to yap more or explain because Im sure people understand from every point of view wether a job helps them survive or such job makes people miserable and trapped. I get it and all I can say I'm trying to find my way as well despite all these hardships and everyone else who also tries to survive the harsh yet beautiful realities. For mines its 1500$ of rent per month at my apartment I live in that will raise every hundred the next year since I don't want my mom working in the uber like hell since I genuinely do worry for her while my school causes me to feel nihilism, pretty ironic system we live in. Hey man I'm also sorry if I had to yap or something I just wanted to be real and vulnerable for a moment to say there are many people going through things that often causes us to feel envy or disillusioned and its sad when the cruelty of the reality causes us to also be divided/isolated/misunderstood or even hate one another too all of our individual idea's/fantasies may be difficult to flourish into reality but with decent moral constant reminders of gratitude and positivity I'm sure in the end "everything will truly all be okay" So if you see this I'm here to say you got what it takes! Nobody can stop you and you are where you exactly need to be! Theres nothing wrong being petty in wanting to see the vast beauty of the world. I truly hope god bless all.

The key is finding a job you aren’t miserable and angry at. I took a dramatic pay cut and got a job working 4 10’s with a lot of PTO, holidays and good health insurance. I can now take multiple vacations a year and the stress on my heart has dramatically decreased. I would also like to suggest that you don’t have anything* to work for maybe? Men need purpose. When you find a wife and have a child it gives you motivation and drive when things get tough
