- Today we are focusing on building our shopping mall! Along the way we discover a potentially new way of doing a BUS, unlock new technologies, and attempt to BREAK the game! Come join me!
Techtonica is a first-person factory building game set beneath the surface of an alien planet. Work alone or in co-op to build factories, gather resources, research new technologies, mold the destructible terrain, establish a base of operations, and uncover long-forgotten secrets.

Thanks! Yea, the waterfall bus does look nice and this build was more about just building buildables than numbers. But, when we get to the last terminal upgrade (in alpha) I think I'll focus on a dedicated set of factories for the necessary parts. Relying on inefficient shopping mall, just feels wrong :)

All jokes aside, love what you did with the place. The waterfall and the Shelving units look great. I hope to be part of the second wave of test keys, so i can try things out.
LOL Sorry and thanks! :) I had thought about adding numbers, but I felt the video was so packed full of stuff already, that I could do numbers elsewhere. So, no worries, I have more numbers coming and probably a correction or two :P

I saw elsewhere how the vertical bus works, the waterfall is much much more efficient. Great idea😉
Thanks! I had briefly looked at a vertical option, but realized how much space it would take. A horizontal one would just as easily require space and more work. This seemed like the a nice combo of the two that solved most of the issues. If they ever add conveyor lifts, then vertical will be easier. But it still won’t look as good 😊

Satisfactory with ugly design
The alpha was definitely a bit more bland. Things are looking better now and I’m looking forward to the base building update that is going to add more cosmetic buildables!
I also found you from this game and I really liked how you think and play the game, looking forward to new videos, while watching old ones 😉

Lol, I'm working on it, just a little busy today. With any luck it will be out tomorrow, but at the latest on Friday.
Anything beyond 10:00 is no longer available in the Sept 2022 Demo
Terminal says "Upgrade Available", but will not take anything, as no items listed
Yea, this was back in the alpha, which had slightly more content than the demo. The demo was was meant to just be a taste of the game so they shortened it.
But the Early Access version is coming some time this year. From the dev streams there has been a lot of great updates. Can’t wait to get my hands on it.
this game looks fantastic, and I love the Deco you've been doing
And considering the game is only in an early alpha phase and still consistently fun, I think says a lot. If you haven't already, be sure to head over to their discord (link in the description) and sign up for alpha. They'll be releasing more alpha keys in waves :)
