I'm not a fan of large SUVs but, I like how this one is put together on the interior, the exterior is ok as well. I like that it has controls for the windows, lights, seats, etc., that are not integrated into the head unit and the climate system has a separate screen for its functions, like my Audi e-tron had. I even noticed the vent controls are mechanical as well. Makes for an easy switch over to EV. The range may not be high but in a country with multiple available charge points, with fast charging, this can still be used for long trips.
I’m with you on the interior, it’s really well put together and functional while still looking good. The exterior might not be for everyone, but it’s solid in its own way. And yeah, even with the range not being huge, charging here in Denmark has improved a ton over the past year. With all the fast chargers around now, around 300km range is plenty for longer trips.
It’s Giles Taylor, the former Chief Designer for Rolls-Royce and Jaguar, who’s now the Vice President of Design and Chief Creative Officer for Hongqi. So that’s probably why the car has some Rolls-Royce vibes 😅
@@ReKief Go where the money is, Hyundai/KIA got some design folks from the big European brands. Folks were saying they were copying Bentley with Genesis, turns out one of the designers that worked at Bentley penned the design. The same is happening with some of the Chinese brands, makes the cars appeal to buyers outside of China as well.

@@ReKief That is good to hear, having available fast chargers helps a lot when you have small range on your vehicle.
Fed bil..
I have premium model and its very comfortable n practical suv for family. However parts are expensive due to monopoly of 1 importer in norway.
это роллс-ройс для бедных))))
Yeah. Maybe the same guy who designed a Rolls and then moved to Hongqi
