Bad idea to use horizontal lines of cement to fix tiles. If the tiles crack and water gets through, how will it flow DOWN the cemented roof if those horizontal cement barriers are there? Create vertical lines of cement and fix horizontal wooden slats across them and then fit your tiles. So if water gets through it will flow down the cemented roof.
THIS METHODE IS A VERY SERIOUS MISTAKE. INTERLOCKING ELEMENTS SUCH AS TILES OR FLOORS PANELS SHOULD NEVER BE GUMMED WITH CEMENT BECAUSE OF MAINTENANCE. IF ONE TILE BREAKS ONE DAY? HOW CAN YOU UNLOCK AND REPLACE
