Great presentation! Already discovered the previous three of the main base game - definitely love the Sally Stageplay secret phase, as that is something like two different drama series. For the Howling Aces fight: I pretty much preferred the normal ones, even though the tilting screen is the challenging one - better than going on hassle to go for the secret phase and those pineapple grenades (nightmare from Grim Matchstick phase 3)

I once was trying to get the Pineapple Mint ingredient, and so I did the boss fight. I got the secret phase accidentally (I already knew what it was) and beat it without the pain of going through the last phase. And the cool thing is, I never practiced the final normal phase.

I feel like having a mini Cuppet in the final phase of Djimmy actually gives you more of an advantage then a disadvantage. The reason why there would be a really good advantage is because you could easily just parry some bullets the mini Cuppet shoots out from their head. Then your cards could go up increasing the amount of times you can use your airplane special to deal great damage to Djimmy. The reason it would be a disadvantage is. You can't touch the middle anymore because you'll take damage from mini Cuppet and also bullets will be flying around so you have to also stay careful.
For the dogfight one While the lazars are harder, it is faster if you know what your doing The secret phase is much easier. However the phase can be slower For beginners i would recommend the secret phase. For people with a challenge I would recommend the normal phase
For the Howling Aces, I personally prefer the normal phase, but that might just be because I use a Nintendo Switch so I can turn the console itself instead my head, plus in Expert Mode the secret phase is a pain, especially considering I didn’t realise the pineapples shot out the little extra bullets
Sally is amazing with her secret phase! I found her much easier, at least in Normal... but I chose I will be doing this also in Expert to (try) avoid damages in the very first phase! Regarding Djimmi , I didn't realize each object was perriable, but I will use to my advantage! Thanks mate!

Stageplay Sally absolutely my favorite with the way the little story unfolds. Nuns throwing homing rulers is just plain hilarious. The Howling Aces is easily the hardest secret phase boss when you play it on expert mode, as there's more fire hydrants & frag grenades to worry about... yet maybe ironically on regular mode, it seems a lot easier than the 'normal' phase since there's no screen rotation & fewer hazards to deal with. Loving all the Cuphead content, still hyped to see that black & white mode run if you're not Cufeed'ed out yet! ;)

1 year late and you probably don't care, but you could go to Isle IV whenever you wanted, even before beating any bosses in the game, no need to beat all isles before getting to Isle IV.

I think that the howling aces fight secret is easier than the normal because the normal phase it just tilts 90 degrees and then 360 DEGREES! With a 50 titled Degree.

My concept if they added a second secret phase (or phases) for every island: Inkwell isle 1: goopy le grande's unused phase, which would trigger if you didnt parry the question marks and it will replace phase 3. Inkwell isle 2: wally warbles phase in which he goes on the top of the screen (moving left to right) kinda like rumor honeybottoms phase 2 bullet attack. He'll shoot eggs and try to peck you with his beak. Inkwell isle 3: phantom express phase where the people inside the trains come out and attack you, replacing phase 3 (like the pawns in the dlc) its activated by not moving the cart. Inkwell hell (its technically an isle!): if you dont hit the dice for a long time in the king dice fight, he'll replace the safe spots with reworked versions of card, pachinko and light. Inkwell isle 4: youcan now parry the shroom in saltbaker's phase transition, if you do, it'll fall to the ground and saltbaker now searches for it while throwing ingrdients and food around, like when he throws distillery dough, when it hits the ground (the table) it'll roll to you
I find the normal phase harder than the secret phase in doggone fight because I wanted to get an S-rank in the dlc so I tried the secret phase and I got an S-rank to be honest you deserve a subscribe and a like and also because I didn’t knew about the Djimmi the great secret phase. I mean, you can make it so that the controls don't get shifted with the flip of the screen. I personally only worry about the lasers and if you get bad bowl timings
Bro I have 180 hours in this game and I never knew about ANY of these. Granted most of that time was put in the first few months after the game launched.

I just bypassed the secret ohase with onion guy. I would harass him enough to cry. The Bunny Beet is just too hard for me.
One thing to mention: The nuns in Sally Stageplay's secret phase aren't throwing rulers at you. Those are crucifixes.

If you break both heads in the djimmy second phase it does more damage to the boss so it’s better to break them both
