Now I know I’m super late but I just want to say this, I have had my did for around 4 years now and he is not trained or anything and he is 10 years old, so basically he has not played fetch or played with toys or anything like that, but When I gave him the toy , made in this video he actually played with it, it was really cool. Don’t know what’s going on but keep up the good work
Amazing! Thank you! The paracord bone was perfect for our teacup Pomeranian when nearly everything at the pet shop was too big. Thank you again! Stay awesome!
This is SO freaking cute!! I'm getting a new puppy and I think that this will be a perfect gift! Thanks a lot! Also the instructions you give throughout the video are nice and clear, very easy to understand so I didn't have any problems making it!
I know I am a few years late on seeing this, but I have to say, thank you!! We inherited my father-in-laws blue heeler, and she litteraly eats EVERY toy I give her!!! I am constantly finding pieces of toy and whatever else she had gotten into while I wasn't around, in her disposal matter when we take our daily walk🤦♀️🤷♀️🕵🏼♀️!! I came across your video and thought to myself "Hmmm if I make this out of heavy duty rope/cord, she may not be able to chew through it as easy or fast as all the others." Well I was kinda right, but somehow she managed to eat through that too!! It did however take her a lot longer to break through, but it is currently in half... I have thought about somehow attaching a tennis or another ball at one end and a ring at the other. I feel like if she has multiple options in front of her, that she wouldn't eat the toy, or at least as fast as she normally would. Do you have any suggestions to what might be a better chew toy for her? I am tired of spending tons of dollars on expensive, cheaply made, toys that will be shredded in less than 10 minutes!! Blue heelers are VERY energetic and are constantly looking for something to get into or a way to release their enegry, so store bought toys are really a big negative for us. If you are still reading the comments after all these years and can help me, or any of your subs that could possibly help, please reply or send me a message(if that's even an option on YT), your time and response will be greatly appreciated. PS. For anyone who responded to this video with them rude comments about " paracord is not safe for your pets, and you shouldn't give them anything that shreds like such. You should take this video down!" Well... If you listen to what was said in the beginning, you were told that, for the sake of the video and the ease of it, I will demonstrate on this paracord and you can use whatever you want. We all know that there is absolutely NO TOY 100% safe for our furry babies, so with that knowdlege, and the concerns of them choking, we must ALWAYS watch our littles while playing with ANY toy. At least with us making our own toys we dont run into the unknown sector of "what is my baby actually chewing on?" ... He also states that the paracord is for baby pups, and I would think that with them having tiny teeth and teething, that there would be anything wrong with making a chew toy for the babies and moving up to a stronger, less fraying material for the next stages. If paracord can hold a 200 pound mountain climber on the side of a huge mountain, I dont see why a pup couldn't use it as a teether... if you made it tight enough and sewed the ends closed so the strings wouldnt fray, then you and your pup should be just fine 😇.
Wow.....just in time as my new puppy is coming home in another 10 days....till then I have time to try out these....thanks so much Sir for the awesome tutorial...lots of love ❤️🙏🏻
My dog loves the rope toys but anything with a "tassel" gets shredded in minutes. I'll see if this will work!! You make something so complicated so clear to figure out!!! New subbie here!!
Thanks so much for this. I'm looking forward to making it. I'm vegan and I've been looking how to make my own dog toys so I can avoid buying the commercial stuff which, ironically, funds Asia's cat and dog meat trade.
The comment by Bernadette regarding the hazard of chewing on paracord is the same as people in my paracord group expressed. ... Someone did suggest a smaller version as a keychain for dog lovers.
Never give your dog toys made from paracord - if it chews through the outer sheath, the inner strands can kill if swallowed - use natural hemp rope etc insead
How to make a dog chew toy step 1 if you have a soft Walet and if you dont need it let the dog chew it and also soft and strong wallet so it can survive long
It's in the description if you read it: For rope toy: 4 x 120 cm or 47 inch lengths of 6mm rope For paracord toy: 4 x 71 cm or 28 inch lengths of paracord.
Angelmanuel Coronado paracord. Asi se llama. Es el cordon usado en paracaidas principalmente por eso se llama asi. Con ese nombre lo encuentras en todos lados del mundo.
THIS IS A CHOCKING HAZARD FOR YOUR PUPPY. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD WANT THE FIBERS CREATED FROM THE CORD WHILE THE DOG CHEWS THE CORD KILLING THE DOG. GET A GRIP AND TAKE THIS DOWN.
Bernadette Eary, Everything you give a dog is a choking hazard. Dental sticks, treats, table scraps, dog food, etc. I do believe this toy is more durable than the t-shirt toys I've seen being made. I'm a vet tech and Ive seen foreign bodies and I've watched a choking dog die before... Please please everyone monitor your dog with any toy you give to your dog. Even a kong can become a choking hazard.
@@katiebug1326 I agree. My DIL is a veterinarian, and says the same thing. It has nothing to do with the material, it has to do with monitoring your dog. Even 'organic cotton' chew toys can choke a dog. People need to learn to monitor their puppies like they would their babies.

Excellent instructions, this gentleman is very good at what he does in explaining each of his projects.
Yup
What a great project and gift to make for the four-legged friends in our lives. Thanks for yet another excellent tutorial.

You are amazing !! Love your tutorials. Thank you so very much
This is a GAME CHANGER watching this in 2023💀
Thanks so much for this. I'm looking forward to making it. I'm vegan and I've been looking how to make my own dog toys so I can avoid buying the commercial stuff which, ironically, funds Asia's cat and dog meat trade.
I made this and my dog pulled the knots out after about twenty minutes. Is there anyway of securing the ends of the knots better?
Burn the ends
SexyBlueBox tighten it very hard
Don't burn the ends for a dog chew toy. Can create a hard, sharp edge that can cut your dog's mouth.
Hi! How long the rope toy will be?
It's in the description: For rope toy: 4 x 120 cm or 47 inch lengths of 6mm rope
For paracord toy: 4 x 71 cm or 28 inch lengths of paracord.
This is awesome!! Thanks so much!! Would LOVE to see more dog toys!!! :o)
The comment by Bernadette regarding the hazard of chewing on paracord is the same as people in my paracord group expressed. ... Someone did suggest a smaller version as a keychain for dog lovers.
Sir can you mention the length of chords?
It's in the description: For rope toy: 4 x 120 cm or 47 inch lengths of 6mm rope
For paracord toy: 4 x 71 cm or 28 inch lengths of paracord.
Never give your dog toys made from paracord - if it chews through the outer sheath, the inner strands can kill if swallowed - use natural hemp rope etc insead
All you have to do is take the strands out of the middle of paracord them make the chew toy then it is perfectly safe for your fur baby's.
pawsome and macramazing!
woooow you super :-)
Hi. Thanks for stopping by.
This video very usefull
Hi how long should the rope be?
It's in the description. In case you never figured that out.
Good! 🐱😂
I put some time before i understood that diamond knot is just a Carrick bend with tiny mods 😅
How to make a dog chew toy step 1 if you have a soft Walet and if you dont need it let the dog chew it and also soft and strong wallet so it can survive long
How bloody long do I need the rope to be???????? Can't find it
It's in the description if you read it: For rope toy: 4 x 120 cm or 47 inch lengths of 6mm rope
For paracord toy: 4 x 71 cm or 28 inch lengths of paracord.
I made with thin yarn
hi big toys next pls
I loooooveeeee bones. I want to make this bone for me and my fursuit Hingon
Like
nice but verry hard to make
with a broken thumb
👍 🔥 👊
Make a dog toy with skinny string
You forgot thw the meter
Maybe as a fetching toy, but definitely not a chew toy. The choking hazard of paracord and rope if the dog attempts to chew at them is far too likely.
me podrian decir que tipo de cuerda es ?en español por favor
Angelmanuel Coronado paracord. Asi se llama. Es el cordon usado en paracaidas principalmente por eso se llama asi. Con ese nombre lo encuentras en todos lados del mundo.
mil gracias :)
Im to fucking stupid for this

If you take the middle strands out of the paracord you can make this dog chew toy still and it will be a little safer my dogs love this toy.
