Over 30 pairs of bullet trains are operated between Guangzhou South / East Station and Hong Kong West Kowloon with a duration of around 1 hour, much shorter than the original 2 hours by normal speed through trains. Passengers just need to pay for CNY 187-215 for a second class seat on the high speed trains.
Up to now, there are 26 high speed trains departing from Guangzhou South and only 6 pairs departing from Guangzhou East. What's more, the immigration clearance is set at West Kowloon Railway Station in Hong Kong.
