Georges Braque - Violin

Since 1907 and until 1914, Braque developed with Picasso Cubism, a movement that represented a revolution in the history of Western painting. These two painters call into question observation, which is based on a single point of view and traditional type of depiction. It is about inventing a new approach of the world, seeking the continuity of space and perception, deconstructing appearances. In much the same way as a musical composition, the work then becomes a score, which the viewer must be able to interpret. In such experimentation what better choice but to represent a violin?
