The two stories that disturbed me the most were the guy that drank the radium, and the doctor that collected skins.

She was so drunk she forgot it was on her phone..truly sick situation..🤦🏻♂️

There was an old twilight zone about a ww2 ship that sunk and they couldn't retrieve it. The people on the surface could hear banging coming from the depths days after the wreck. I bet they got the inspiration from that story about Pearl harbor.

I think you're talking about the USS Arizona and it's still in the exact situation in which it sank bcuz it's considered the resting place of the 1,102 sailors that were trapped inside.

At least the boy in the box ended up getting his identity back there's no doubt in my mind that he had been suffering from prolonged torture prior to his death and his parents or whoever his guardians were at the time were the ones responsible and i think the cops know it aswell

When I was 11 or 12, I had a bad concussion where I hit the back of my head on the ground. I remember only the time leading up to the accident, then just flashes of being carried by my arms to my grandparents house across the street and the paramedics telling me to stay awake. I don't remember the ambulance ride, hospital or even the CT scan. Thankfully I was with my brother and a couple of friends when it happened. Since then my brain sits crooked in the skull

Regarding Koko the gorilla, everyone who's interested should go watch "Why Koko (Probably) Couldn't Talk (Sorry)". It is a UA-cam video, but at a length and depth of research that makes it basically a documentary on human-ape communication. And yes, the conclusion is that Koko couldn't talk, nor can any gorilla or chimp be taught language. Koko specifically knew some hand signs, sure, but was greatly manipulated and interpreted by her keeper, who's... quite the character.

The Boy in the Box story is one of histories most heartbreaking mysteries
These were fascinating if very upsetting at times. The person who lived with Gail should have got help way sooner. Surely they could have cut the couch fabric and brought her attached to that instead of the whole couch? And if the people who liverd with her had reported the issue way sooner before faeces was left everywhere and her lungs damaged - they might have saved her. This was neglect by her loved ones.

In relation to the # 5 story: I've heard of something similar happen to another man, only he had been struck by lightning.

That radium medicine story is so awful, at least nowadays patients only end up with a crippling opioid addiction. I went thru that and still in recovery. Unlike some ppl tho, im not angry about it and take full responsibility for it. Anyone who feels bitter about being givin dangerous deadly drugs that leave a life long impact, just realize how much worse it couldve been...

He offered physicians a 1/6 kickback on each dose prescribed."
Doctors are to this day paid to get their patients hooked on lifelong medications and treatments. Especially the big V-one that must not be named, which for many ensures lifelong ailments for which they will need to come back for more medications.

Ome of my ex gf's friends was struck by lightning 8-9 times I believe and has a tattoo of a lightning bolt with the number 8 or 9 next to it. There was a big media writeup about it here in Ohio

Gayle... how was her body removed from the couch, after death, then? How was she buried? Terrifying and sad. I've seen even more extreme cases in animals. A horse's skull was found in a field, with the harness grown completely into the skull. It had a foal's harness on, and the horse had grown up with it never being removed. Google and you shall find.

Sounds like Sarah (#5) is a dangerous person to be with. She's had battery charges against her boyfriend and killed him and seems like a person to falsely claim abuse to see someone locked up. I know women like that, with that level of manipulation in them. It would be interesting to talk w/her ex husband to gauge her character and see the type of person he knew her to be
