    This is Gold! When playing at this Tempo your mind is forced to focus and develop consistency! Very difficult to do,but with patience and time, this experience alone will take your playing to the next level. I remember a lot of tears and broken drum sticks for about 3 months.....after that pure joy!

    This is an old video that is still as relevant today as when it was originally recorded. Something that Steve also talks about in this video is taking your time during fills.

    Brilliant exercise and one I hadn't ever considered. Plus it allows you to really study how you're hitting your drums and cymbals and focus on technique. Thanks for posting this!

    This is actually pretty hard to do. It's about the Space not the notes. Everybody who does'nt get it, just needs more milage to understand that lesson.
