I'm really glad you've reviewed this one. For me it was a huge surprise when I first tried it at the end of 2019 because, growing up loving the house of Dior and owning many of their Privée releases, I wasn't expecting it after all the light, airy and flowery fragrances that came out since 2018, with the exceptions of Balade Sauvage and Purple Oud. In fact, this one has been growing on me so much with each wearing that it has become my fourth most worn Dior Privée after my 2 absolute favourites, Patchouli Imperial and Eau Noire, and my "everyday scent", Purple Oud. To be honest, I didn't bother to compare this with Spicebomb because they are in totally different leagues, to me Spice Blend is the perfect mix between the initial 2009 formula of Ambre Nuit and the gorgeous Mitzah.
Interesting I never could get the comparison to spice bomb, this is gorgeous tho it's one of only a few from the line I have full bottles of. Apparently it is inspired by a bay Rum aftershave Demachys father used to use and I definitely get that, it's definitely reminiscent of bay Rum aftershaves I own.
Dr AC, I really enjoy watching your videos. Some of my blind buys were influenced by you. I would say,I was never disappointed. Recently, I had an opportunity to smell “ Diptique orpheon” and I bought it straight away. I was stunned by the perfume’s uniqueness in comparison to all other perfumes I have smelled so far. It brought back my childhood school memories for some reason I can’t get my head around. I would love to hear your take on it.
Enjoyed it quite a lot! I've heard about the similarity about both, but I do not own either. I've always wanted to have my hands on the spicebomb extreme, as I've smelled it, but I've enjoyed more iris based fragrances, so I landed in the land of DIOR DHI, Givenchy Gentleman EDP when I was comparing winter fragrances, and then moved to woody & oud based fragrances. Decided that I didn't need this in my collection. Sometimes I do think about if I did skipped it too harshly, but I do believe, that if it doesn't grab me enough to think about it the next day, then I'll just buy it and let it sit on the shelf, and I don't want that.
Dear Mr. A.c , desperately waiting for your comparison video of Dior spice Blend and victor & Rolf spicebomb (edt and preferably if possible also with Victor &Rof spice bomb extreme , many thanks in advance and eagerly waiting 👍
I need to try this sound like something i would like alot i have not smelled any dior privee line yet and hard to fi d on discount sites might have to blind buy one since i cant find a place to get good amount in a decant.
AC this is far better than Spice Bomb. Notches above Elegant light and makes u feel a million$. All Dior Prive have this very light and classy feel to them. Do a comparision bet this n SB. ❤ this review.
Can you recommend a beast mode iris frag? I know dior has a private collextion one (that van cleef has one that snells similar to it), theres a masque milano one, etc. i love dhi and homme parfum, but no longevity for me

Well worth sampling David and yeah if you could get a decant that would help I guess.
@@ACSmellsGood it will be a true blind test for me becuse i have not smelled spicebomb as well lol looking forward to your next video sir.
Thanks for this video. Since you mentioned it I'm curious, do you apply fragrances only under the shirt?
Some times yes, specially when I feel they have a good sillage.
I thought it smelled like Chanel Egoist?

Try Amouage interlude black iris
I think Black Iris is a very good recommendation and you could also try Florentine Iris.
