I tried New Look 1947 the other day. It’s absolutely beautiful and the initial opening reminds me of Chanel. But unfortunately the dry down is far to feminine for me. None the less beautiful ❤
I absolutely adore the MCD exclusive line. The hard hitters are great, but also the subdued ones which are easier to wear on a daily basis. I just got both Purple Oud and Spice Blend, and I am completely in love with them. I find them to complement each other and I will play around with them, probably later I would layer them both 💖
Thanks for sharing and I Totally agree! The Dior Exclusive collection is probably my most favorite to have fun when it comes to layering.. They just complement each other in very cool ways. You mentioned Spice Blend.. That is an awesome scent to layer with others.. It just gives other perfumes in the line a kind of "pop" that I really enjoy! One layering combo I enjoy is spice blend with santal noir 😍
This was so enjoyable and soothing. U both are looking so beautiful and dapper! Really love Sandra's sass on the Holy Peony! U both are so funny, love ur exchanges! Love how u said Sakura!!! 😂Love Christian Dior, I named my son Christian! 🥰 What a beautiful line of fragrances. 🤗💖
@@rottenrebels Thank u so much, it really is.😍 Apparently I had fragrances in mind when naming my kids. 😁I gave my daughter the Chloe for her middle name, because I had received Chloe perfume for a Christmas gift, and loved it so much! 🥰 Now Sakura will be stuck in my head for a while today lol😂😂😂🙏🏽
I am not a oud fan. I sprayed Oud Isphahan, and I couldn’t wait to wash it off my skin☹️. Rosewood Oud smells medicinal for me. I never smelled Purple Oud. Bois D’argent is a league on its own. It is so unique for my nose. I love it when my husband wears it. I love roses and peony. How do you compare Holy Peony to Blooming Bouquet or Rouge Trafalgar. I know that you like RT. Wonderful review. Thank you. I can’t wait for part 3 if possible.
Dior Bois D’argent is such a beauty!! I feel they are very different.. Holy Peony really focuses on the rose/floral while Rouge Trafalgar focuses on that beautiful fruity blend. They are different and I do prefer Rouge Trafalgar over Holy Peony.. That fruity blend is just so good and I love using it for layering. I can see how someone might think of it being similar to Blooming bouquet (both are created by Francois Demachy) but to my nose theres a difference.. Not sure which one of those I enjoy more though, both are nice 😍
@@rottenrebels It’s almost impossoble to choose only one. I love the tobacco/honey/dried-fruit mix of Tobacolor. It reminds me a bit of vintage Michael Kors for men. Bois d'argent is the perfect delicieuse everyday/sugnature scent. Oud Ispahan is the attention-grabber that never stops to impress. It’s the most amazing rose-oud combo! If I was forced to keep only 3, these would probably be on my shelf. I wish I could feel the same way about Ambre Nuit as you do.. Maby I'm nose-blind to some notes in it, but to my nose It’s very thin and faint, and it just miss that little extra. Maby I have to try it several times to understand what all the fuzz is about 😉

Love watching the two of you. The look on your face when she gave the fragrance a 3 was epic. I was ROTF😀😀. I have a lot of their fragrances (thanks to you guys). I wonder how their soaps and body cremes are.
Thank you! ❤ I actually never tried their soaps nor body creames. Will have to check them out. They also have candles (love that stuff, especially comes fall/winter), that I also never tried. Will have to put my nose to those as well 😊

@@leslietanner6152 the first one that came to my mind is Italiano Donna from Armaf. Lower price range, definitely cheaper than Dior, and amazing quality. Its a round, sweet and slightly woody floral. Beatiful, round, cozy, inviting and unique. Both of the have great projection and longevity on me.

Having almost identical noses and taste, I had to pause the video and type this comment here in 26min58sec as to me Feve is not as delicious as presented (not just by you). It is quite sharp, harsh, bitter-sweet tonka bean which behaves only during cold days. It lacks creaminess of a dessert. Maybe the Maison batch is lighter as the Privee one which Im describing right now. I wish you would be able to sample the old formulations as I can clearly see that you have a good time with Dior ;)
I have both the OG formula dan 2018 batch. The OG is about 3x more powdery in the dry down and has stronger cocoa scent. However, both can be pushed to another level with little help from Spirituese Double Vanille.
Its a bit confusing since they on their own website communicate both ”maison christian dior” and ”la collection privee”.. So Out of habit I say Maison 🙃
Haha just pausing the video again as we all 3 have the same top picks :D I wish I didnt sell Une Rose de Kandahar time ago because it is a sister of Ambre Nuit.
