No matter how much chaos happens within your home during the school day, it cannot be anywhere near as much as what happens within the public schools systems during a typical day. People are so judgmental. Andrea you and your family have a wonderful thing...keep on keeping on!!! Much love and hugs to you sweet lady!!!
I love your gentle nature and how you keep true to your beliefs.. I was taught to ask yourself 3 things before you speak to someone 1. is it kind 2. is it supportive 3. is it encouraging,, if not all 3 apply then dont speak it. there is no reason for others to criticize someone else's life,, it has no effect on them and just because you are on youtube doesnt make it ok to speak mean spirited words. For me if a youtuber doesn't fit my way of thinking then I just move on,, i feel no need to leave criticism,, honestly none of our business and you are putting yourself out there and I appreciate that you and Tom share your family with us.. I once had a not so nice reply on something I left for you and I was truly insulted because they called your children names,, and in no way did I feel the same. Problem is our country is losing that innocence that children are suppose to have and I love that your children are so kind and caring and yes even acting like "kids" that is what they are suppose to do,, not yelling, swearing and disrespecting their parents. You are such a loving parent and never apologize for loving your kids and teaching them the way you and Tom feel they should be raised,, Not sure you will ever read this but I just wanted to put it out there,,
Dawn's New Light THANK YOU For your comment, I love this family, Andrea and Tom are such great parents and their children are so polite and loving. Andrea is so talented and appreciate every vlog/ video she puts out, I can not express enough about the amazing family. She is so positive and it hurts me to think anybody could make negative comments.
Hi Andrea, I don't know if you read all the comments you get, but I thought I would leave you one. I am not a christian and nor do I have children, but I enjoy your videos and you seem like a genuinly nice person and a good mother. We might not have the same views but I feel like I'm learning a lot by watching your channel. I live in Norway and I don't know anyone who homeschools their children here, so I don't think I would ever do it, but it seems like children learn better by homeschooling and that you can take each childs learning abilities in consideration. I love your organizing videos and your family vlogs, and how proud you are of your job as a mother and a housewife. Many people doesn't realize that it is a valid job and a hard one at that. I just wanted to leave you my love and support.
Thank you, Maja; I really appreciate your sentiments. I am very proud to be a wife and mother and I hope to do my small part to bring validation to what so many of us women yearn for.
Oh it broke my heart when u started crying, don't let these people get to you. You are a wonderful mother and I love watching your videos. You don't have to explain yourself to the people that don't understand and say cruel things just to be mean. Keep your lovely spirit and just be you :). Your family is beautiful :)
*hugs* I deeply appreciate and completely agree with your stance on not embarrassing your children, and putting other peoples' children, etc, on UA-cam.
I came across Andrea’s page and fell in love with her and her family, I somehow missed this one, since she has left I have been binge watching, my heart broke watching Andrea cry, I cried and cried thinking that someone could be so cruel and hurt her, I don’t know about the rest of you I never met Andrea she is a complete stranger but I have cried and grieved as if I have lost a dear friend, is this normal.
nik nak I've been grieving too. I stay at home and homeschool my son, my husband works a lot, we just moved to a new town in a new house, i just went no contact with my narcissistic mother after 41 years of being psychologically abused by her, had to leave our church because it's too far away now...just SO much going on. Anyway, Andrea's videos are like a companion for me. My mom never taught me how to do anything because she wanted me to be dependent on her so Andrea is like a combo of a mom, a friend and a sister to me. Ugh. I'm gonna cry. That part in the video where she was teaching her kids how to find a job, really touched me. My mom told me to get in the car one day at age 16 and dropped me off at interviews she set up for me. I wasn't prepared. Had no idea what was happening. I made an idiot out of myself at some of them because I didn't even have the skills for that particular job. I was traumatized. It seems surreal that Andrea is gone. But she's with the Lord. And one day she'll be reunited with her family.
Yes. I found Andrea the day after she passed...via Jamerrill Stewarts channel. I have also binge watched sooo many videos. I have grieved and cried as if she were a dear friend. I think I have learned something on every single video. Her videos on cooking, sewing, homeschooling and organization are amazing. She always tried to make every day life interesting and fun for her family.
I feel the exact same as you.. The other day Tom was doing a live video while Eden was looking at comments and answering comments or questions, Someone said Eden talked weird and it upset her tremendously.. All I could think of is this video and Andrea crying and how devistaited she would have been..
You're such a beautiful person Andrea. You are also EXTREMELY well organized and inspiring. Everything you've explained here, I've personally never even thought about. It all seems so obvious. Of course you're not going to be in everyone's face with your camera or showing us hours and hours of the kids sitting down doing school work. It's lovely that you respect your children and their feelings. The people who make these criticisms are mean spirited, judgmental hypocrites who I am sure are so very far from feeling a sense of completeness that they have to ridicule those who do. Don't worry about the haters. There are many of us out here who love and respect you.
20:00 Wow, Andrea. Not only are you a wonderful mother, but you are such a thoughtful, empathetic woman in general. Your videos are so comforting and uplifting. 💛 Thank you for sharing your life with us!
I just wanted to say, as a big admirer of your beautiful family, that you are doing a fantastic job. I'm not married or have children yet and before watching your videos I wasn't even sure I'd want children, watching your family be content and loving really puts things in to perspective for me. I'd like to be part of a loving family and when the time comes, I'll put in to place things that I've learned through these videos. I think when a few people disagree and try to be negative that it's ok, not the whole world will love you, maybe not even like you but that's the case for everyone. Just carry on raising a beautiful family and carry on spread that goodness, the world needs it.
Andrea, I think you are a wonderful TEACHER of your children! I am so sorry you deal with such negativity because your channel is wonderful. I'm not a homeschool mom, but I am an elementary school teacher of 24 years and I can tell your children are learning. They are learning well. Solomon is learning the same curriculum any traditional public school kindergartener learns but he gets individualized instruction. Furthermore, I never discipline my students in front of the class, we go in the hall if we need to discuss inappropriate behavior during lessons. I think it's wonderful you respect their dignity and do not post the times they must be disciplined. I first started watching your channel for your menu planning and home organizing videos , but I soon began to enjoy the school vlogs. One of the first things that attracted me to watch your homeschool vlogs was to see you using systems similar to ones I use in my classroom, such as your character of the week award, your 100 reward, your goal chart, etc. whoever wrote that hurtful comment cannot possibly have watched much footage or they would know how ludicrous that comment obviously was. Anyway--i rarely comment on UA-cam but I always feel that I must because your channel has been a real blessing to me. I felt I had to try to heap some praise on you to balance against the negative. You're a wonderful mom AND teacher! Your kids are truly blessed. ❤❤❤❤
You are doing an awesome job! Please don't let ignorant people discourage you. As a homeschool Mom whose job is done (both my kids have masters degrees) I love watching your videos. You have a wonderful, healthy family! Much love and prayers!
That moment at about 40:00 where Claudia is in the background dunking a wipe into Knuckle's water bowl.... priceless. I am sorry, Andrea, that there are haters out there that say mean things. To be honest, I think that with many of them there isn't a single thing that you could do that they wouldn't find something wrong with. They are to be pitied. You are doing an amazing job, and your kids are delightful.
Solomon is amazing for a four year old. I love the way you are so gentle but also keep him on track. Keep up all the good things you do with your family. Hope you all have a great summer.
Andrea, you are such a wonderful example of a godly woman from Proverbs 31:10-31. I homeschool 7 children and it is not a small feat. You have helped me immensely with your videos, especially implementing the A.C.E. curriculum and organizing my home. Whenever I need some inspiration, I watch your videos. I am truly saddened that you have received unkind comments. In this social media culture, people can easily be careless with their words. Thank you for opening your home, family and heart in your videos.
Before I sat down to watch your video I was thinking about how much I respect you for not filming your kids in compromising situations. You are clearly very respectful of their hearts. Home was always a sanctuary for me. I was free to make mistakes and be myself. If vlogging had been around when I was growing up and my parents had filmed some of the things I see out there I would have lost the intimacy and security of home. Your kids are clearly well adjusted. I saw a video today of someone filming their child throwing up. I felt so bad for the little girl. I don't think people realize that the internet is forever. One its out there there is no going back. It makes me wonder what kinds of mental health issues will arise from growing up in a house that is not respectful of their child's privacy. You are doing a great job!!!!! Don't let the haters out there get to you. Your kids are great and that is a testament to how they are being raised. Good job!!!
You are a really great person Andrea! The love for your kids and husband shine through everyday! Love your family and God bless those amazing children! People can be just so mean for no reason and it baffles me, takes so much energy to be so negative. The world needs to use all those negative stuff and turn into great things! Sending much love from Ga!
Andrea, you and your family are so appreciated. Negative comments get to all of us. These people commenting with concerns about socializing and academic rigour are looking for something negative, something that really isn't there, but they sure wish it was! Thanks for sharing your life and work with us.
Andrea, you're a great mommy. Kids will be kids! My parents had 6. Things got really loud. But as my mama said,I HAVE KIDS,NOT ROBOTS! Your kids are sweet, kind, caring and well cared for and most importantly LOVED! To others that have issues, that's their problems. I would love to be in your family. Lol You just keep being you.
Andrea you have the true understanding of this whole vlogging and you tube experience. You are a compassionate, loving, understanding Mom and encourager! Don't ever change! God has his hand on your heart! Keep up the great work my friend ❤
I hope someone is feeling suitably repentant for upsetting Andrea, that she felt the need to defend herself is so sad.The Mills family are a joy to watch & Andrea has laid the foundations for children who will grow to be kind, compassionate well grounded adults RIP 💖
I'm sorry that some viewers feel the need to be critical of the way that your family works in life. I fully appreciate that we only see snippets of your day. The fact that you are so thoughtful towards both your children and your extended family and friends shows that you consider what it is appropriate to film and put out there. I'm sure your friends appreciate your thoughtfulness. I feel your emotion in not wanting to film when children have a 'behaviour' moment (as all kids do), please know that you are much loved in this community. I think you do an amazing job as a parent and a blogger - and not always in an easy situation. Blessings. and much love.
I hardly comment these days since I watch your videos offline but I feel compelled to say the following: Your family brings me so much joy. Live your life Andrea and ignore negative people. I appreciate the fact that you protect your children and their image. If people have something to say or have concerns, people need to ask question instead of sending out accusations. I also have a feeling this is a new viewer since I am well aware of the fact you have friends (hello, the cooking segment?). Sending my love from South Africa.
Andrea, I have been a fan for quite a while know and I've said before but I honest to gosh think you're one of the most honest and genuine people on this site. Your videos are wholesome. You should /NEVER/ feel like you have to explain yourself or your wonderful family. Obviously, your kids have friends seeing as going to school isn't the only way someone can obtain friends. Every single person's situation and life is different, anyone leaving negative comments on your videos needs to realize that. Those people probably have only seen a video or two and they like you said don't have enough imagination to fill in the gaps on what they haven't seen. Sorry if this comment was incoherent, I am just really upset that people are so ignorant.
I adore your family and love your videos. I'm not sure why people wonder about Thomas because I see him with his friends in many videos. He doesn't look unhappy in fact he looks quite content with his life as do all your children. I'm not sure why people think you must have tons of friends. I'm an introvert and have always preferred having several close, intimate friendships rather than tons of superficial friendships. I'm raising three daughters ages 15-20 and tend to find they feel the same way. They enjoy spending time with us as a family and comment on how many friends' families don't seem close or to enjoy each other's company. I love learning from you. I'm glad to see how different people live and learn from their wisdom. Thank you for sharing with us. PS Solomon is hilarious and he is a 4yo. I'm a preschool teacher and spend every day with children. All his behaviors seem age appropriate.😉 People commenting must not spend much time with children.😂
You are doing a great job. Your children are growing into well rounded and respectful adults. Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it. You have been given an awesome task and what a blessing that is. Your children will not have to worry about peer pressure.
Wow - I cannot believe that people could watch your videos and not See how Happy, Healthy, Smart, and Funny your kids are. They are having a wonderful childhood. Thank you for sharing your family Andrea - I really look forward to your videos.
I loved this. I wish other vloggers were willing to be this genuine. Your heart shines through and anyone who would want evidence from a stranger to prove their worth needs to find their hobby, they also probably haven't been in a classroom lately. With 25 to 1 teacher ratios they get pretty loud and rowdy. Also Claudia is just such a perfect age to be loved on by all her older siblings proof that a big age gap can still make for a great sibling relationship.
Andrea, you are an awesome mom and someone I would be proud to call my friend. I love watching your videos and have learned so much from you. Please know that 99.9% of all your viewers totally support you. Don't let the negative people bring you down!!
Amazing answer to the rude people. I do think hearing about your tough times in a chat like this rather than candidly would be good. I know I often compare myself to "super-mom" UA-camrs and it really makes me feel so down on myself when I'm having a bad day. The supermoms are very encouraging too, so I don't want to quit watching!
Andrea, you are a gracious and beautiful woman! Your household looks wonderfully warm and fun and your children are BLESSED to have you as a mom! So sorry that some people don't understand and feel the need to comment negatively--SO many of us are kindred spirits and see the beauty in your family and the honor you show one another and the Lord. You just keep on being your wonderful self!!
when i saw u get emotional in the beginning of the video what came to mind was how fantastic it was that you were kind enough to want to show the hard times in your family to help others but even more fantastiic, very kind and loving was that yo u recognised in that moment that it may cause embarassment to your kids and that you were so protective and loving to them that it would touch you so. it truly shows how you are very in tune with your familys needs. i see you as like a supermom! i dont always comment on the videos but i watch everytime you post :) i do remember asking a similar question in the past about the kids socialising moreso out of curiosity as i dont know much about home schooling but as soon as you kindly answered i got it, and clearly saw that you guys have an even better social life than i do! i really look up to you and i have learned sooo so so much from you and in ways you have given me many new perspectives in life. its like whateveeis concerning me at the time in my life you have an answer for :) x keep it up andrea! x
Sorry you felt the need to explain and defend yourself and your family. You are an amazing mother and so many of us watch you for inspiration! Keep on being you... just the way you are.
Andrea, What a heartfelt Vlog. I remember when I decided to homeschool my children when they were in 5th and 6th grade. I was so shocked at how critical my "so-called, friends, and many were supposedly Christian", I will never forget, because I was so excited about the journey of being home with my children and teaching them in Christ centered way, and they reacted like I had told them I was locking them in a closet till they were 18. It was some of the best years in our memories, they are now 30 & 31 now and I have no regrets. We have to remember that its the devil who use people to derail our joy. They may come around some day because I was one of them until I took a closer look at my friends who home schooled and how I wanted that kind of life for my children. You have such a sweet spirit so just keep up the good work! And thank you for sharing, I am now raising two grandchildren age 6 & 10 and many of your videos are helpful in organizing and chores etc. very helpful!
It's obvious your children are learning -- and learning well. They help to cook (Judah's rhubarb crisp is amazing and a testament to science and math application to his baking). They are working hard at their studies. Your home classroom is extremely organized. You are fully capable of educating your children as you are educated and you research a lot to the benefit of your children. I'd say homeschool is a lot less chaotic than public school, though I am a strong proponent of keeping my youngest in a public school (he is in highschool). You reward your kids for their success and have a way of encouraging them to encourage themselves in doing well in their studies. It's also obvious you care about their interests and foster them in the most nurturing and compassionate way possible. It is easy to judge without thinking. I wish you the best, as always!
We love your transparency and sincerity. You have to have some privacy in your life and protect the people in your life who may not want to be on UA-cam. That viewer that questioned you - maybe she'll understand now, but I feel so bad that you ever had to explain yourself or your intentions. You've helped so many of us. I cried when you started crying because you work so darn hard to share your life and your family's lives with us all. I feel PRIVILEGED that you share SO much! I've learned so much and look so forward to your videos. You're one of the very few authentic UA-camrs I watch; so many channels are overly censored and edited with all kinds of graphics and constant ads. I love watching your children grow and develop their unique personalities through the eyes of your camera. What a wonderful keepsake for all of your kids to see when they're older with their own children!!Keep being your authentic self, and block the ones who aren't willing to accept your video content. 99.999% of your viewers support you and your entire family 110%!! ❤️
I just love watching these videos of your homeschool days! I can only imagine how hard it can be sometimes for you and your family to put your life out there for everyone to see, but please know it does not go unnoticed! You have helped me and my family personally, and have been so encouraging. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into your channel, and I just know we are not the only family you have impacted! May God bless you and your beautiful family!! You are all bright lights shining in such a dark world!
You and your family are a delight to watch, and one thing that I have noticed in each and every video is how well your kiddos get along, both with each other and with others out in your community. I would be hard pressed as a former public school teacher to find fault with the excellent manner you use to teach them. And I am not just referring to the actual school vlogs, but also when you are all out in public. And having the older ones choose to sit down and watch Solly's letter videos is genius, since they are so good with helping each other. as far as your slogan "Growing God's Kingdom one heart at a time"?? No, my dear, you're growing it 10 + 35,242 at a time, since you bring a light and joy to bless us too!💖
Much love to you Andrea. I don't usually comment but your videos have helped me so much, please know that you are truly an inspiration and a huge practical help to so many of us. I'll be praying that God protects your heart and gives you peace surrounding this situation. 💕
I'm sorry you even have to explain yourself. people are so rude.... you are such a sweet family & God has greatly blessed you. I'm really loving your channel!!
Dear Andrea, you are a beautiful person and I respect the decisions you make in regards to teaching your children and filming your vlog. It's so unfortunate that the comments of a minority of people carry so much weight. Keep doing what you do, you make the world a better place.
I'm so glad you addressed the 1%. If they are going to make comments while hiding in the anonymity of the internet then they should be addressed. You are kind enough to allow us into your life. I am encouraged by you and selfishly 😀 don't want to lose the help you are to me.😘
You have such a wonderful way of explaining things. I think you should have this section of this video pinned to the top of your page (if that's possible). Everyone needs to watch it for your channel and all the other youtubers! You're an amazingly kind person, mom and wife. Keep up the good work.
Just wanted to write an encouraging comment! As an outsider from a totally different background I find your videos fun and interesting. Your children seem polite and intelligent and you seem kind and above all honest. I hope as your channel grows you are able to brush off the negative, you don't owe anyone an explanation.
you are an awesome wife, mother, sister, friend, teacher... stay true to what gives you joy, supports your family, and generates happiness and improved well being!
I am sad that someone can be so hurtful and say unkind things. I love watching your wonderful family and think nothing but admiration for you and Tom for everything you do and how it's all for your family and how you all love to be together. God bless
Thanks for sharing Andrea. The best friends that your children have at the end of the day is the comradeship that they have with one another. I have a large family and although they have some church friends at the end of the day they still always have each other. A real friend is one who cares for the soul not just "good times" and those are very hard to find. True Christianity is a narrow road and the American way makes family seem so insignificant and the importance of those relationships. Love your videos because I get it and I know exactly what your talking about. God bless you all.
Tom and I were just talking about that the other day. Close relationships with siblings are the very best of friendships anyone can have and the nicest compliment you can give a friend is to say they're like a brother or sister to you.
It's such a shame you have to justify yourself, I really love your vlogs and the way you do them. And I'm under no illusions that other stuff doesn't go on e.g. Arguing ,tantrums ,tempers etc. Your all human. But I love watching how gentle you all are , and I'm very grateful that you let us into your life. Big hugs xx
I have been so encouraged by you and your lovely family. Thank you for being as candid as you have been. Please continue to be a light in a dark world ❤️
Oh and one more thing. The part of your video where the boys were all clapping for Eden kind of made me tear up for a minute. Having all those Brothers to stand by her (and each member of your family) will be such a blessing as she grows. I know my brother's love for me has allowed me to grow and learn with the confidence that he would take care of me.
Dear Andrea, please do not let anybody throw you.....your life is beautiful... your family is beautiful and spiritually rich with virtue which are not up for debate! Many people are critical, small minded and look for people like you to try to 'cut down' and 'minimize' your lives. You're perfect just as you are....all 10 of you! Why? Because you're living an authentic life...authentic to you and all your children and husband.
I just wanted to add my voice to those offering you encouragement. People are the most critical when they're insecure in their own choices, so try to remember that the negative comments say much less about your choices than theirs. I don't always come the same conclusions as you, but what I always enjoy is hearing how thorough your thought process is. You're an amazing, thoughtful woman and your family is blessed by you.
You are not required to explain or justify anything you do just to satisfy some negative people whose main joy in life is to critisize others. Keep doing what you're doing. You have a beautiful family and I love seeing the times of your lives you CHOOSE to share. Thank you for giving us a glimpse of your family times. God bless you & your family.
I watched this a second time and it made me cry when you were crying your concern for others is to be admired. Your sharing your family your life with us you are more than welcome to show us what you want to.
You know, I am still, to this day, very good at dawdling. It takes me forever to get things done. Good on you for finding a solution. And it's a pretty special solution, too. It just goes to show that, as wonderful and as necessary as mom's are, there is a special dad magic that is as irreplaceable as mommy magic. :D BTW, it's awesome to see that your kids cook. They seem to be pretty good at it, too! Another great video.
You are doing a great job Andrea! You are the best mother, wife and teacher. I really appreciate your videos. I find them soothing and really likeable. Your family is amazing. You are all cleary happy so you are doing something right! You work so hard and deserve recognition. Keep being you because thats what 99% of us viewers are here for. There will always be someone who is so unhappy with themselves that they need to try to drag others down. So sad. But chin up, you will be just fine.
Great video, as always. As I've mentioned before, I attended ACE-based private schools and taught in one as well, and your description of homework slips and detention slips brought back lots of memories. I love the way you adapted those systems for home use, even though it didn't turn out to be a perfect fit for your family. I also agree that ACE isn't perfect, but nothing really is. I love ACE for lots of reasons but there are certainly aspects that I don't like. You've done a great job of adapting it to your family's exact needs and supplementing it where needed. You're doing a fantastic job of homeschooling. Hopefully you already know that and don't need my lame endorsement. And wow, congratulations on all your accomplishments! It's always been obvious to me that you're very smart, but I'm even more impressed now! As for me, I have a BS, a MEd, and I'm currently working on a PhD. I attended medical school for two years before realizing that doctoring wasn't the life for me after all. I've worked hard and been very successful in all my educational endeavors. I could tell similar stories about lots of other people, too. We're all proof for the doubters that private school/homeschooling in general, and ACE in particular, does NOT inherently provide an inferior education! It can and often does produce graduates who are equally or even more capable and intelligent than people who attend traditional schools. Your kids are gonna be GREAT! (Again, not that you need me to tell you that...) And finally, I'm so jealous that you have a Subway in your town! I rarely eat out anyway, but it would be great to have the option without driving for an hour or more. Small town woes! :-)
I enjoy your video's tremendously. My children are all grown, but I have 4 grandchildren that are growing up fast. I have only watched for the past 3 to 4 months as I really did not know much about youtube. Your children show love to their siblings daily and I love how they look out for each other. I enjoy the weekly grocery shopping and how they each have their own money to purchase a treat. You work very hard every day managing your house and home school.
People have very powerful (they think) opinions when they are hiding behind their computer screen. I don't think anyone would ever be brave enough to say some of these things to you in person. You are exactly right, your viewers only see a very limited amount of your day and to cast judgement is not nice. I think your family is very genuine and I happen to really enjoy your videos because you do spend so much time with your children. You can only do what is best for your family!
There is no avoiding negative people on the internet, sadly - but I think your outlook on it in the best one to have. It can still hurt though! I definitely struggle with fear of judgement as I'm trying to decide if I really want to vlog or not. I have a completely different life path than your family, but I am a huge fan of your channel! I find your family and your vlogs so therapeutic - just a small glimpse into your life but I always feel a sense of calm when I join your family for those little moments. I think it's really important to keep the best and the worst times private
I love this! I watch a few vloggers, and I've always thought it was a bit odd when they include other people, especially kids in their videos. And I've always wondered if they seek permission etc, because I know I'd feel strange interacting with them if not. So do NOT feel bad for not including others, that's way more considerate. And similarly the negative with your own kids. They are young, and you tube is such a new medium, I'm glad you're erring on the side of caution with regards to their privacy. One of my favourite moments of you guys, was an earlier video, where the kids drew pictures of character strengths, and you said to them or they wanted it on the video to leave it in one place, and if not, leave it another, and I loved that you respected them enough to let them decide that. Be encouraged, you're doing a great job!
I'm so sorry for all of the negativity on your channel, you of all UA-camr's don't deserve this kind of criticism. I absolutely love your videos and find you extremely inspiring! Your family is amazing, I hope that these comments don't discourage you. Thanks for all your efforts!
Please be encouraged...what you do is so wonderful....I have learned so much from your family. I am sorry but I truly truly enjoy your videos and your family...don't let negative ppl get to you and keep doing what God has laid on your heart for your family and your channel.
I just started watching your videos and I enjoy them very much! I've learned so much about organizing and creative ideas as well. Angela you have a wonderful family keep the videos coming!
I absolutely love your vlogs and your beautiful family. When I see videos like this is truly breaks my heart. I pray that those who are judging you or any other youtuber looks deep within themselves and realizes that by ridiculing others no one benefits from it. Andrea you are a beautiful human as well as raising beautiful humans. Keep doing your fantastic work. I am grateful you choose to do this and share with us. xo
Love your videos. I was skeptical back when I saw your first videos. You quickly changed my mind. You are the best family. You found a life that works for you and yours.
Hi - I just wanted to say that I love your videos! I am a homeschooling mum of 6 in the UK and I have been helped so much by seeing you video . I was suffering terribly with post natal depression and I found that your videos motivated me to just keep going. I like that it's slightly chaotic because it reminds me of my house!! I also love your tips and tricks - we are now the proud owners of a 3pm snack box😄 I watched a video where you said that you concentrate first on food and clothing and if those were sorted you were doing ok. That video helped me carry on and I still live by that !
You know, I was really sad after Claudia was born and that's a bit of the catalyst that helped me start my channel. It was therapeutic to reach out and help others to help me get out of my sadness. (She was 3 months old when I started doing videos.) So thank you for watching. I think we helped each other!
Oh Andrea, I'm so sorry these negative comments hurt you so much. I know all of us wish we could give you a big hug. You are doing a wonderful job of parenting and vlogging. I'm sure along with the people who admire your family there are a few who might be envious and some who are just jealous. Most of us are very grateful for letting us see glimpses of your happy home. God Bless you all.
I love the way that you handle "hateful" comments, and you're so confident with what you do and put in your videos! Just keep doing what you've been doing and what works for you! I personally think that your videos are entertaining, and that's coming from some random 14 year-old girl from Wisconsin 🧀😊
I need to add something in this day in age of social media its so REFRESHING that you keep points of your life to yourselves and respect your children's and others privacy thank you
I am sitting here in tears as I listen to this amazing woman defend her family. To know that people left such ugly comments, pushing her to feel the need to do this, disgusts me. Just how ignorant could you be? It literally took me 7 seconds into the first video I watched of hers to see how devoted and in love she was with her family... and not just her husband and children- her entire family. I'm a new subscriber; I only just heard of this family after Andrea's passing. Since then I have spent hours and hours watching videos, getting to know her... and I cannot think of a single person less deserving of ridicule. She is the perfect role model, especially for women, wives, and moms. I truly admire her.
I think you're both great parents and it's obvious your kids are socialized by how they behave. I was a hater when I first saw your videos because I resent homeschooling but I've never seen someone do it with so much socialization and care. Your kids are all very smart and you work really hard teaching them. People who are hateful just haven't taken time out to really watch your videos.
I like to play a little game when I watch your videos...it's called "Where's knuckles" he always pops up somewhere, lol. This video I saw him behind the gate at one point when you were leaving. That ol' fella is so cute!
Fascinating video! You explained a lot about filming! I find you to be very balanced in your attitudes which makes it easy for a wide audience to enjoy!
It sucks that people are being so rude to you. I mean, even though you make youtube videos about your life, I don't expect to see every second about it. I don't even know how people think you guys don't have social lives, considering if they even listened/watched your videos they would see that you and the kids have talked about being around others. Honestly, it's not even any of our (the fans) businesses anyways. Regardless of if you hang around a lot of people outside of videos or nobody at all, you deserve to have a personal life without a camera! You are very kindly sharing your lives with us and I really do appreciate it. I really do look forward to all of the videos you make and it definitely is a highlight of my day. With youtube, people are gonna be a real piece of work regardless of who you are or what you're doing. I know it's hard and I know it won't always be possible, but remember that you are very much appreciated with what you do and the work that goes into your videos. You have so many supporters and fans that I hope can help you see past the negativity of the people that just want to complain because they can. 99.9% of the time they don't even have anything relevant to say anyways :)
Your such a beautiful person and soul. I wish to have half the amount of grace that you do when I'm a mother. I adore your family to pieces and I look forward to seeing the vlogs.
I understand what you are saying about taking video in public places and other people. I am a teacher and also have started a vlog, but I refuse to put anyone on the camera unless it is my own daughter. I totally understand. And I am so sorry that some people just "don't get it". I look so forward to all of your videos!
You are such an amazing person and mom. It's so easy for someone to judge when it's not their life. I love watching yalls beautiful life and am honored that you take us on that journey with you :)
Mrs. Mills you’re such a great person. I started crying when you got so upset, don’t feel like you have to prove yourself to any “haters”. 99% of your viewers love you and love your videos, don’t listen to any of those mean comments. Keep up the great work Mrs. mills! ❤️❤️
I love your videos and I wish I could've been a mom like you! Your family is very blessed!!! Thank you for sharing what you do and I never would think you should do more. Continued blessings to you!
Your children appear to be very happy, loving and very outgoing. You and Tom are doing a beautiful job raising them and shouldn't let the negative comments bother you. Some people just aren't happy and want to bring others down to make them feel better. God bless you and your family.
Best part of the video. Justus "what is a London royal". Thomas "its the queen or England we are cooking her up". Actually laughed out loud. Love your channel please ignore the people who judge you and post negative comments 😀
I aspire to be more like you and have the same positive outlook you do! I hope that when I'm blessed with a family I can follow in your path and I'm so glad to have found your channel. You are exactly the kind of person I think God wants us to be and you don't deserve any hate. Happy to see you keeping your head up!
I am so sad you even have to explain yourself to negative comments. You are a Great Mother and have a great family. I am so sick of people telling you of how you should be or how you should raise a family. God Bless You for these fun video's.
It's too bad that the need for explaining your private life is even necessary! People should be able to assume there is a lot that you choose not to show because it is private!!! I truly enjoy your homeschool videos and I hope they continue!
Much respect for not disciplining your kiddos on camera. I find that so respectful a parent would do that... it also reminds me of the scripture, do not provoke your child to anger... anyway, I know I'm just one guy, but oh well, I appreciate your videos and your openness. I really enjoy seeing reality not staged situations... anyway, I know the constant thrashing becomes overwhelming, but remember, you're a great person... much respect.
WOW PEOPLE. who don't enjoy watching should find another place. We enjoy your FAMILY thanks! ! You're a special person. .
You're a great momma... Don't let all those negative nellies get you down... Just do what you do and know you and your family are loved...
No matter how much chaos happens within your home during the school day, it cannot be anywhere near as much as what happens within the public schools systems during a typical day. People are so judgmental. Andrea you and your family have a wonderful thing...keep on keeping on!!! Much love and hugs to you sweet lady!!!
R.I.P. Jen.
Dawn's New Light
Don't worry, she'll see this!
Thank you; I'm sure I can speak for everyone that makes UA-cam videos that this whole place would be a lot nicer if everyone thought like you do!
She was an amazing Momma❤
Thank you; it's always nice to hear from someone who's further down the road than I am!
I think you are doing a marvelous job with your family. I enjoy your family videos. I keep you running while I'm working. LOL!!!
Lol
You just keep being you.
I love these long videos! Thank you for uploading:)
when i saw u get emotional in the beginning of the video what came to mind was how fantastic it was that you were kind enough to want to show the hard times in your family to help others but even more fantastiic, very kind and loving was that yo
u recognised in that moment that it may cause embarassment to your kids and that you were so protective and loving to them that it would touch you so. it truly shows how you are very in tune with your familys needs. i see you as like a supermom! i dont always comment on the videos but i watch everytime you post :) i do remember asking a similar question in the past about the kids socialising moreso out of curiosity as i dont know much about home schooling but as soon as you kindly answered i got it,
and clearly saw that you guys have an even better social life than i do! i really look up to you and i have learned sooo so so much from you and in ways you have given me many new perspectives in life. its like whateveeis concerning me at the time in my life you have an answer for :) x keep it up andrea!
You and your family are so awesome, Andrea! Nice people who accept everyone and always working as a team to get things done. Such a wonderful family!
Andrea, most of us can see that you are so sweet and your kids are happy. Thank you for sharing with us. The faces Solomon makes crack me up.
hi Andrea, I think the way you teach your children is amazing. I also think you have a great family. I just love watching you guys. god bless Mrs. ET
I think its lovely that you give us glimpses into your lives. Keep up the good work.
(Again, not that you need me to tell you that...)
And finally, I'm so jealous that you have a Subway in your town!
You are amazing and I love and greatly look forward to all your videos. Thank you for sharing your family and your day to day life!
I also love your tips and tricks - we are now the proud owners of a 3pm snack box😄
I watched a video where you said that you concentrate first on food and clothing and if those were sorted you were doing ok.
I need to add something
in this day in age of social media its so REFRESHING that you keep points of your life to yourselves and respect your children's and others privacy thank you
I am sitting here in tears as I listen to this amazing woman defend her family.
You are an awesome mom and example and I love your videos and what you share with us! Thank you ❤️
I like to play a little game when I watch your videos...it's called "Where's knuckles" he always pops up somewhere, lol. This video I saw him behind the gate at one point when you were leaving. That ol' fella is so cute!
Listen! You don't have to explain yourself to anyone! Thank you for your insights and videos!
Hi andrea, love watching your videos, its the highlight of my week, you are a great mom and have a beautiful family :) x
Your such a beautiful person and soul. I wish to have half the amount of grace that you do when I'm a mother. I adore your family to pieces and I look forward to seeing the vlogs.
You're doing a great job with the vlog! Don't let the negative ppl steal your joy!
This week's challenge is..find a job....followed by shocked facial expression was so funny!
