*Important Update* : If you are trying to use the brushes but you keep getting a single colour stroke every time you draw, you need to go into PREFERENCES / EDIT PRESSURE CURVE, then hit the RESET button at the bottom of the Pressure Curve Graph Window. That will bring your pressure curve back to default and you will see the gradient brushes working again just like in this video. Thanks!!
It didn't work for me either. Just solid colors that change every time I make a stroke, but the colors don't change within one stroke. Bummed its not working

This does not work for me when I am on the drawing pad trying to draw it the neon colors do not show up. My curve is at the original set curve and I’ve followed the video step by step and I’m still not getting the neon.. please help!

Hey man, So I'm getting confused at the color dynamics part. I've done everything correct but once you slide the hue and saturation under "stroke color jitter" It still won't change color as a neon tube would. It just goes through the colors of the rainbow when I slide it. Any suggestions on what might be going on??

I am new to procreate. If purchase the brushes you've created, how do I get them into the app?
No worries Steve, the brushes come with a manual of instructions on how to install the brushes in Procreate. You'll need a Dropbox account or a way to save the .brushes file into your iPAD so you can import in Procreate. Hope this helps, cheers!

Dream Hope try lightening your actual pressure. I had the same problem and then I was just playing around and got it to work with using a little lighter touch than I normally draw with.

When you create a brush style does it save to the app or something for others to use? Or does procreate like put it into the next update? I’m just curious about that lol
It seems that (PREFERENCES / EDIT PRESSURE CURVE, then hit the RESET ) doesn’t work if you have the new version of procreate.
I could not have the result shown on the video even tho I did this procedure so many times!

Amazing video! But when ever up I do it it just dose a different color every time I draw. I put the stroke color jitter all the way up. But it still doesn’t work.
Just go into preferences / edit pressure curve / and tap reset - that should do it!! 👍✨

Hi, thanks for the video. I was really interested to see how you made the new brush. I do traditional calligraphy and have just got the ipad with procreate. I was disappointed that I cannot find a broad edge nib to do the thin and thick strokes needed for doing calligraphy like gothic,italic etc. Maybe it is there but I cannot find it and being new to procreate I have no idea how to access one. Would it be possible that you could show how to make one please? Many thanks 🙏🏻
If you’re looking for a wide stub nib sort of brush then you first need to change the brush shape into a horizontal narrow rectangle sort of shape. I couldn’t find one in the brush library, so I just drew one in procreate and imported it into the brush library, I also rounded the corners so it wasn’t as sharp, I think you don’t need to do that though.
Next step is to change the direction of the shape (if that makes sense, don’t change the “rotation” it doesn’t really work like you think it would). So in Procreate 5, when you click onto the brush and go to the “shape” menu, you will see a circle diagram thing if you scroll down. So you need to rotate the green point so that the number says 45°, you can do other angles I think but 45° is probably the most versatile in calligraphy (blackletter and stuff).
So that’s basically the gist of it, you should probably play around with the settings to make a suitable brush for you. Hope you can understand this haha, English isn’t my first language

Hi Ghost paper! I tried making these neon brushes but I’m not sure why it won’t work for me 🙁 it showed the same results but once I start doing another stroke it became one solid color only.. not sure what I did wrong 🙁🙁😢

Hi there, if you are experiencing this - here's the fix: Go to the Actions Menu / Preferences, then tap the option 'Edit Pressure Curve'. Now tap at the bottom of the window where it says 'Edit Pressure Curve' , and voila!! It should fix it! :) Good luck!

Noob question, once you duplicate the brush, how to you pull up the 'edit' menu at the 0.49 second mark? I go to settings but the menu looks way different than the one you're using.
