Still rocking an iPhone X and out of curiosity I looked at my battery health and it’s 93%. I don’t know what that really implies because the battery only lasts half a day.
You just can't trust Apple's statements, they lie all the time. Remember how they lied about not slowing down older phones, when in fact they did PURPOSEFULLY slow them down all this time.
So I'm a android user. So you have the x. Are you missing a lot of apples features still using that? Or is it really not that much of a difference. Not counting like camera's

I used to upgrade more frequently to get the latest versions, but every year the upgrades would be incremental after the iPhone 10. I will say Apple does not support my phone anymore in terms of the latest software. But honestly all these little tweaks they’ve done over the years besides the camera I haven’t missed. I don’t like sick heavy phones, so that’s been another reason I haven’t upgraded. There are rumors that the iPhone 17 will be slim again. But if you are considering moving over to Apple, I think anything after iPhone 11 Pro it’s probably a decent move although there have been some criticisms of the iPhone 14 battery life.

@@dnial999you need to go to Apple Store or Apple service provider as soon as possible until the phone covers manufacturing warranty they will replace the phone for you

Great video. One thing you didn't mention that has been the biggest difference to me is USB-C. Having one charger for everything has really saved me time and peace of mind. Love the phone.
Bought a 13 Pro Alpine Green 2.5 years ago and will keep it 2 more years. 86% of battery health.
There is nothing of those new iPhone that make difference unless you use iPhone to get money.
I’m at the age where I’m not upgrading until my iPhone 15 breaks.
@@lanoblesIII that’s gonna last you a long time because on the iPhone 15 the replacement prices are so affordable they made everything easy to fix and if the battery life is under 80% I’ll just go to Apple and get a new one for $100 with installation and mom and Pop repair shops have genuine apple batteries they charge 80 bucksfor a battery swap with double warranty

I recently picked up my iPhone 15 Pro Max and I said something similar. I was stubborn about giving up my OnePlus Nord N200 until it crapped out too many times in the middle of important calls.
I am not upgrading until iPhone 17 series

Still using the iPhone 13 Pro, Max Alpine Green that I bought new and doing a excellent job. Got up this morning with 100% battery at 5:20 AM & right now It is 1:32 PM. Still have 66% battery which usually last me till about 8 PM. Battery health is at 87% after these few years and phone is holding up great. Don’t know if other 13 PM users is having good experience as I am, may consider the 16 Pro Max after it comes out but for now my phone is holding up like a beast. Great video you did.

I am using iPhone 12 from 3.5 year but still it have 80% battery health
But mine reduced to 84% just in 1.5 years. I bought a brand new one in 2022 and the battery health reduced so fast!!!! Can't use it outside with mobile data on cuz it drains the battery so fast

Get battery replaced at some point and wait till iPhone 17 series to upgrade at the earliest

@@dennwilliams3342 yup they replaced for iPhone 12. For 89$ keep in mind that mom and Pop repair shops also do supply genuine Apple battery for 60 bucks and they give you the warranty for longer. They also have other options aftermarket batteries for 40 bucks replacement, but I always stick with genuine parts.

7:56 I have a 13 pro max. I don’t feel like my phone is moving slower at all. Sometimes I just want to upgrade because there’s a new one
My phone randomly crashes but other than that, it’s ok. Doesn’t move slow at all

I also feel like my camera has gotten worse since purchasing.

I actually just got my iPhone 15 Pro Max about 2 weeks ago. I have been watching additional videos about it's quirks afterwards and I am glad I got it now, as my unit was manufactured July 2024 and I can experience the battery new.
I’m going for the sweet spot. My 15 pro max is already to big I’m going with the 6.3 inch in September then the iPhone slim next year if it’s not missing premium features
Using 13 pro & don't think it's worth to upgrade yet!! Got battery health of 87%.. wayy better then 14 & 15 series.. I think apple intentionally degraded the battery in 14-15 series so that people have to upgrade.

Yeah agree on buying new, I bought this refurbished, buying new would be crazy, I just couldn't see it getting much cheaper in a months time, refurbished anyway, and new will disappear (most likely).

Well they showed division resurgence for iPhone 15 and it’s time for 16 and it isn’t out. That’s how efficient they are in making these claims.
I play Switch games, Ps2, Ps1, PSP, GameCube, SNES, NES, N64, PSVITA, Gamepass, and PS remote play games on my phone, when I’m not at home. Sometimes even at home.

I phone 15 pro max is so worth it base on my experience, the action button is so useful for example your on a trip/vacation and so many beautiful scenery just press the action button to capture it and the Dynamic Island is so cute and new to the eye although your screen have black but its not distracting anymore, if you are finding good phone for capturing good moments and you’re a mobile gamer definitely recommend this phone

PLEASE review the transitions and how the moving button do not work after a transitions, on every IOS 17 or 18 device.
In Australia, every iPhone is broken.
You can see it very well in wallet when you select a card and try to go back, the more you try the more you will see it fail.
We need to push apple to improve their quality, most a ignorant of the problem and cannot even see the issue.
It does happen on keyboard presses, but most people think that they just mis pressed, but actually it is apple faults.

I currently have the iPhone 12 and thinking of buying a new iPhone 15 max pro. The 12 works great but I want the better camera for use at Burning Man in August. VERIZON has it currently at $1,000. Do you think the price will decrease in September? Please share your thoughts.

To talk about titanium is misleading: only about half of the frame is titanium, the rest is aluminum. Disappointing to repeat Apple’s marketing, especially when claiming the opposite

@@marcrodet4900 the outer frame in complete grade 5 titanium that is what i learn from his video…talking about the outer frame not the inner frame..the inner frame for sure has to be aluminum in order to keep the heat maintained

I don’t notice the weight difference.
They need to save some money on making all these different chipsets and just throw the M4 in everything across all lines. I figured this many years in, that they would already have done this. Super Not interested in a larger regular Pro. This was one of the most powerful small phones on the market. Now I will assume to get this size you are going to have to buy the non pro models which is a deal breaker for me, mainly because of the difference in the cameras. Maybe upgrade next year but they really need to do something special next year with it seemingly being the year they will be releasing the 10 year anniversary models. We will see.
Black Friday Walmart sale remains a game changer for iPhone. Between my parents and myself, I’ve bought 4 phones this way and saved at least 50%. If you get the outgoing model, i believe it’s $100 off and then a $400-$450 Walmart card depending on the phone. If there’s better deals out there Leme know.

Disappointing that you never mentioned the inability for the person looking at the camera to see where the lens is. On the front facing camera, you can't see where the lens is AT ALL, and from what I understand there is no zoom at all either. On the back camera array, you have no idea which camera is filming you so your eyeline will nearly always be wrong. Pixel 8 Pro both illuminates the front camera lens so you can see it clearly and allows you to zoom in and out. If you use your camera for vlogging, how can this not be your number one concern? Do you put a circle or arrow sticker around lenses on the phone to see where you should look? I've seen people smiling in videos and photos and their eyes are all over the place - they simply cannot see where the lens is. Also, you made no mention of audio, especially in regards to microphones.

That’s almost always been the case though. Generally speaking Apple takes a long time to implement features which means you’re not the target audience.

@@keymefortson6772 Ah ok. I assumed you never used them (Apple products) before. I have a 13 Pro and I have absolutely no desire to upgrade anytime soon. I do use a Z Flip 4 as a backup and I get all my excitement out of Foldables at the moment. Honestly the only category of phone that is even remotely exciting these day in my opinion.
I actually agree with you, but I stick with Apple because of the ecosystem which is the most seamless as well as the ease of use when everything just works for the most part and the only one in my eyes on the android side that comes close to Apple is Google while many people claim Samsung is Apple ‘s rival And their points of valid I feel that Google isreally Apple ‘s rival because Apple now makes the hardware as well as the software for android and while the Tensor chip isn’t in the same league as the Apple a series or even the snapdragon chips just a fact that Google makes their own chips now has me excited for when they do finally compete with QUALCOMM and Apple it’s gonna be exciting and the Google pixel is the phone that excites me.

Personally I would rather it be made out of aluminum or even plastic and lower the cost. I put a case on all of my phones anyway and would prefer them to be lighter. May go with the regular 16 Pro next time if they don't gimp it.

Apple keeps trying to make big time iOS gaming a thing as they talk up the new iPhone. Pretty much impossible when games on iPhone (n) look and perform exactly the same as on iPhone (n-1) and iPhone (n-2). Any gatekeeping isn't hardware driven.
They're mostly talking about AAA games
