I wish you had included "Effects of sugar ingestion expectancies on mother-child interactions" since I found the suggestion that sugar intake by children actually makes PARENTS more critical of their supposed hyperactivity so fascinating.
When I was a child, nobody realized that the worst of my meltdowns occurred approximately 10 to 15 minutes after eating something very sweet. I would even scrounge for pennies and whatever other change I could find, outright stealing change from Mom's purse. Then I would go to the corner store to get more chocolate. Thankfully, I out-grew it.
Great info and I love the adorable boy, valiantly deflecting any negatives about, while defending sugar, only giving up one particular group (the Cotton Candy Gang) as "potentially" a more reckless endeavour than the harmless others. His joyfulness about and his love of sugar is why kids are so great, and such great reminders of happiness and the simplicity (and access) of, and to, a chocolate chip cookie. Great video.🤣
The cutaways with the record scratch sounds and “Oh!” were GOLD! 😂 Thank you so much for these fantastic and informative videos, and Happy Halloween! 🎃
My friend's kids on coca cola are wild, and I wouldn't suggest it! I considered it to be from all the sugar, but hadn't considered the caffeine as much. When i drink an energy drink (veteran caffeine addict) without vs with sugar however I notice a massive cavern in terms if how much more energy I have when there is sugar added. I don't hate it, but I try not to indulge frequently!

Yeah it causes far worse problems than hyperactivity and it’s freakin addictive
True
I always thought of it as a myth. Thanks, this confirmed my theory.
Apollo is adorable. He reminds me of my students who swear that sugar is healthy 😂
Thank you. I agree but am not very objective 😊

Food theory did a video on this very recently
I learned her child LOVES cotton candy!
He really does 😆
Sugar won't make him hyper but the cocoa and caffeine will send him off the wall.
sugar did made my kid hyperactive
Sorry but I cannot take anyone seriously when they are wearing a sucker ring.
I’m so glad you could tell it’s a ring pop! I thought it was a little hard to tell.
i can't take anyone seriously who's a sucker for sugar industry funded "scientific" studies.
Sugar is objectively bad anyway
Sugar is bad for us at every age.
It is and has been linked to multiple diseases and other conditions.
