What an incredible Eureka collection Roy, yeah those numbered spines are very tempting and as you mentioned, it can take you out of your comfort zone 👌 it’s always fun trying to hunt down the missing films from the set, thanks for taking the time to go through them all, I didn’t know they made that many, nice one mate, take care 👍😃👍
I do get excited when I add a new one to the collection 😆 I know a couple of guys that have the full set. I get envious when I watch their videos 😆 Thanks for watching Alan 👍
Wow!!! Awesome loving your Master of Cinema Collection.👍🤩👌 Loving the other Eureka titles. I got Born Free on a Twilight Time blu ray And Born Free 1&2 on dvd that I found at an opp shop many moons ago.I kept the dvd because of the sequel so that was a bonus.
Brilliant collection. I am only missing 1 ( the insect Woman) to complete the collection, I’ve collected all the limited editions, Steelbooks, boxsets etc. hunting down the older oop titles is so hard but fun. Keep going with your hunting as it’s so worth it
What an absolute pleasure this was to watch! MoC are easily one of my favourite boutique lines and it is a lot of fun to collect them. Sad these days that so many of the great ones that we are after are all OOP, because as you say, you always know with them that you are going to get something brilliant. I just passed 100 spines myself a couple months back, but to see well over 200 is amazing, and you've got a good few that I'm keeping my eyes peeled for like Two for the Road and Make Way for Tomorrow. I've had The Incident sat on my shelf for a while now, but I'll definitely check it out soon after you've spoken so highly of it! I'm curious if you've got any of their older DVD releases? I've picked up just 3 so far, but I've found myself over the last year especially, being more interested to get more, as there were a lot of great films that they released on DVD that didn't make it to the bluray line like other Maurice Pialat films, or Gandahar which I've been curious about ever since watching La Planete Sauvage.
Thanks so much for those kind words! I've only added a couple since making that video. I need to get my ass in gear haha. I've only got one of the dvd releases, but it's a great film by Ernst Lubitsch called Trouble in Paradise about a pair of crooks that become romantically involved. I'd love to hear what you think of The Incident as you're someone who's opinions I really rate. 👍
(New Sub). Fantastic collection Roy. I first started with Eureka MoC when they only did DVDs. Although I haven’t got very many (funds you know!), they are all brilliant. Tend to buy direct from Eureka as free posting and I like to support the actual people involved. I have 9 DVDs (one is boxset Dr Mabuse), 30 MoC and 13 (soon to be 14 when When Taekwondo Strikes arrives) in the Eureka Classic range. Will certainly be getting more MoC when funds allow, great video. Cheers 👍
Hi welcome aboard and thanks for the sub! Funds(and space) will always big our bigger enemies. I'm mainly chasing out of print stuff that are incredibly expensive on ebay buy I find cex sometimes struggle to keep abreast of their worth and you can get some bargains. Usually they've been owned by collectors previously so they're in pretty good condition.
@@roybarratt5609, cheers. I do believe that some lighter fuel applied with a cotton bud to those pesky CEX stickers will allow you to peel them off leaving no residue.
Eureka Masters of Cinema is my second-favorite label behind Criterion; however, I’m American, and Masters of Cinema is kind of like the European Criterion Collection. Your collection is impressive. I only have six of them: Sunrise, The Gospel According to Matthew, Oedipus Rex, Der Nibelungen, Man with a Movie Camera, and Coming Home. I ordered The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari 4K, but I haven’t received it yet.
I only have a handful of criterion. Something I need to rectify. I'd like to upgrade my Cabinet of Dr Caligari but there's only so much money. Thanks 👍 for watching.
I felt the same way about Harold and Maude. After I watched it only earlier this year (in my late 30s), I got mad and thought, “Why the hell have I not seen this earlier?”
The 20th Century Fox logo appears on older releases of the film I wonder why they didn't use it? hopefully this should be something remastered from it's original negatives or maybe they used a Paramount version and either removed the logo or accidentally kept it at the end because Paramount is the film's distributor in the United States and some newer releases of films on physical media lazily use american versions of films because they are easier to find or they might've purposely decided to remove the Fox logo because they could be using the original UK negatives because I think they use to prints for any film since If... (1968) from Eureka has the old BBFC X rating before the black and white Paramount logo. I found a another copy of the 1900 Blu Ray that looks exactly the same except it has United Artists and MGM on the back cover instead of 20th Century Fox.
@ERScorer173 I haven't seen it yet. The five hour run time always frightens me. However I've just put it in to check for you and it comes up with the Eureka lol and then directly into the film.
You won me over with your positive verdict on One, Two, Three. Genius comedy.
Yes it is and hardly anyone has seen it. Wilder was a genius. 👍

Thanks Deon 👍 loved Born Free ever since I was a kid. The song really gets stuck in your head 😊 😃
Great collection!!! I love the MoC series
Thanks Sam! I never fail to find new favourites 😍

Thanks very much Ted. Yep the hunt is definitely part of the fun. The Insect Woman is an expensive one. Think cex want £50.
@@roybarratt5609 do you have Will Success spoil Rock Hunter?
I think I might have 2 copies
@supertedm5 hi that is one indeed that I need. I'd certainly be interested if you're selling it on 👍

@SuperGrumpyDaddy thanks Mark I'll have to try that. Nothing worse than them all sticking together.

@ERScorer173 indeed it is. I really should make some time for the film. Such a great cast in it.
@@roybarratt5609 do you own any VHSs? hopefully the 1992 Widescreen VHS from Fox Video should keep the logo at the beginning
@ERScorer173 I've long moved on all my vhs to be honest. I haven't got enough room for my bluray let alone tapes haha
